TLDR – Does Rank Daddy Have What It Takes To Make You An SEO Superstar?
Rank Daddy is here to help students launch their online businesses in the SEO field. It’s not really for those wanting to seek advice on SEO itself, although you will get a bit of on-page and off-page SEO guidance. Instead, it’s for people who want to run an agency.
Basically, anyone wanting boost their website’s SEO outsource to you. You pull all the levers and flick all the switches that get your clients to the very top of the Google tree. And clients pay you good money for it!
This sounds like a pretty good business model… and it is. SEO is a really big deal… everyone from small businesses to mega multinational corporations needs optimization services. And Brandon’s strategy seems pretty solid too… he’ll help you develop an in-demand skill-set and target the high-ticket clients who are going to bring in the megabucks.
I’ve just got a few issues with this. To be clear, none of these issues are with Brandon’s coaching or materials. There’s good stuff here… stuff he’s used to make good money with his own business. Here’s what I’m worrying about…
Issue One – The Competition
When did you first hear about SEO? Probably you don’t remember… it’s so long ago. Over the last couple of decades, SEO agencies have really taken off, and the biggest names are hitting hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue. There are more than 15,500 agencies in the US alone.
Basically, if you’re starting out now, you’re way behind. Breaking into this market is going to be super hard…
Issue. Two – The Control
Unless you’re one of these heavy hitting agencies with vast amounts of resources, there’s really not much control in this market. SEO rules shift all the time, and you’re one misstep away from a tumble down the rankings. You slip up, you lose a client, you lose another… the domino effect can be scary.
To be fair, Brandon does help you to scale your business as you aim for the agency big leagues. You’ll learn how to outsource tasks so you can grow… but this means even less control. If you make it to the top, that’s great, but you’ve got to navigate a lot of risk along the way.
Issue Three – The Pathway
Before you say it… yes, you’re probably right. There’s always room for one more agency. If you can find an angle, or do something better than your competitors, for less, you’ll find an in.
But is this really the best way to go about it? Rank Daddy is a bit like a fast track. You’re learning intermediate and advanced SEO skills, while learning to run an agency at the same time. It makes it sound like any online entrepreneur can rush straight to the top.
Most SEO experts were working on their own site before they started doing the business for their client’s site. They spent years learning the techniques and tricks to push them ahead of the rest. Maybe you can race ahead of them with just a few weeks of coaching… but I’m not sure about this.
Is There A Better Way?
So maybe this course can work. The techniques have certainly worked for Brandon, but I’d say there’s just too much uncertainty to make this a sure-fire win.
Personally, I prefer something that is a lot more reliable, and which gives you way more control.
Digital Leasing does use SEO, but the profits come from local lead generation. Basically, you set up your website in a specialized niche and watch those leads come flooding in. When you lease this site to local businesses in your area, these leads turn into reliable profit.
You’re not worrying about the competition because this is your niche. You’re the one to call for great leads in your area.
You’re not worrying about control either, because you own everything… the site, the brand, even the telephone number those leads call when they need a service.
And the pathway is sound too. You’re learning practical skills and growing your business in a sustainable way. It only takes a few clicks and a few minutes out of your day to run each site, so you can scale up without overloading yourself.

This is because Brandon wants you to sign up for the Rank Daddy Pro content. This is going to set you back quite a lot more… $1,947 more, to be exact.
That’s actually not a bad price at all, but you need to make sure you’re getting great value out of this two grand.
How Is Rank Daddy Different?
You probably already know this… but there are a lot of digital marketing courses out there. A. lot.!
So how does Rank Daddy stand out from this jostling crowd?
Well the course is grounded in SEO, so it’s different from something like Viral Content, which is all about organic traffic generation through viral video content creation.
The agency aspect of the program makes it similar to Imam Gadzhi’s course. But Imam brings together a bunch of gurus teaching a more well-rounded digital marketing curriculum, as opposed to Brandon’s SEO focus.
The Brandon Olson Review – What’s This Guru All About?
Before anyone signs up to become Rank Daddy members for real, you need a Brandon Olson review…
Brandon OLSON… not to be confused with Brandon OLSEN who writes online about the NFL… is the guy behind the Rank Daddy program.
Brandon is fighting out of New Braunfels, Texas… and he’s got one heck of a record. He’s already worked with more than 2,500+ clients, supporting them as they scale their SEO agencies into big time success stories.
A decade ago, things were different. Back then, Brandon was all about his dropshipping site, and managed to make a million bucks from this business model. If you know anything about the dropshipping market, you’ll know this is seriously impressive! Most people don’t get near this.
After running into a bit of trouble with Google Ads, Brandon switched up the business model again. He began exploring the world of online coaching, signing up with Dan Klein and Brad Campbell on their Job Killing program. He did superbly well out of this, and now he runs his own program, notching up a ton of revenue in just a few short years.
He has had a few other issues with Google… which is not the best look for an SEO guru, but I won’t hold that against him. After getting the all-important Google My Business verification code, he managed to get his account suspended. He’s going strong now though… and the ongoing success of Rank Daddy is a testament to this.
Is Rank Daddy Legit?
This is the million dollar question for many of you out there… is Rank Daddy legit, or is there a scam going on here?
Scam is not the word I would use for this course. I’d say it’s legit… Brandon is a guy who’s done a ton of SEO agency work, so he knows what he’s doing. He’s also put time and effort into giving you a nice course to vibe with, and you will get some SEO and agency-running info.
My main concern here is the whole ‘fast track’ element. Brandon is basically teaching you how to do SEO and how to run your agency at the same time. It’s a bit like learning to read and learning to start your own publishing company in one course… most people are already amazing at the former before they start the latter.

These are strong words from Malte, although he is a verified digital marketing pro, so it’s probably worth listening to what he says.
Other commenters are a bit kinder…
This seems like a pretty good call… doing a bit of ‘try before you buy’ on the free Rank Daddy program. Just remember that this is mainly a bit of lead generation bait to try to get you to sign up for the Rank Daddy Elite program, so the information isn’t exactly complete.
My Personal Brandon Olson And Rankdaddy Review?
Ok… so here’s my personal Rankdaddy review.
I think it can give you some decent organic traffic generation skills, and it can help you with on-page optimization and other aspects of SEO. But I don’t think it’s going to jumpstart you all the way to SEO agency success.
First up, let’s see what I’m looking for in a course like this…
- Amazing coaching and materials
- Profit potential that makes your head spin
- The freedom to live your life the way you want to live it
Can Rank Daddy Help You Build Your Own Successful Local SEO Agency?
It can help you build an SEO agency… but building a successful SEO agency is very, very different.
I’d say this course gives you the wetsuit and the harpoon gun… then asks you to jump into the shark tank. Basically, it gives you the slimmest of fighting chances, but the odds are still stacked against you.
Let’s see what we’re dealing with here…
- The coaching and materials are pretty good… as long as you don’t get confused learning how to build a successful local SEO agency while you’re still learning your more basic SEO strategies.
- I’m worried about the profit potential. Most SEO agency success stories involve agency owners who started out boosting their own pages before moving on to clients websites. This is a super competitive market, and it’s the slow, steady, methodical horse that tends to win the race here.
- Even when your using Rank Daddy’s trust based ranking model and other features, you’re not going to have much freedom. Battling those sharks out there in the agency market is going to take up all your time.
I just can’t recommend Rank Daddy. If you want to run an agency, you need to be an experienced SEO pro already, with a ton of wins under your belt. If you want to learn SEO, you need a straightforward course without all the ‘scaling your agency’ stuff getting in the way. I think it misses both marks.
For me, this means Digital Leasing. Here’s how this program stacks up…
- A clear and focused course – The coaches teach you the skills you need to create leads for local small businesses, and show you how to create your digital rental property in a clear and logical way.
- Big profit potential – You pick your local, specialized niche. There’s no saturation here, because you’re the only shark in this tank. You can crank out a couple thousand dollars per site, across as many sites as you like.
- Semi-passive income – Once set up, you can run your site with just a few minutes a day, leaving you free to focus on other things.

My Rank Daddy Reviews Roundup – The Conclusion
Thanks for sticking it out with me on this one. We’ve learned a lot about what Rank Daddy can offer, and if it’s all it’s cracked up to be.
So… the conclusion.
The course is pretty good. You’ll probably get some SEO skills, and you might get a bit of insight into building an SEO agency. The tips on how to outsource SEO services are pretty cool, and this is definitely going to be helpful as you scale your business and step away from the mega workload.
But is it enough to give you a successful SEO agency all by itself? Probably not. Too much of the Rank Daddy review content is from disappointed students who didn’t make much money from the coaching. There are some success stories, but I most people are going to need a whole lot more to get their own agency off the ground.
If you’re coming into this from a purely profit-focused standpoint… it might leave you feeling a bit shortchanged. I’d recommend checking out something else.
