My story starts like many do… “slaving away” at a 9-5 job that I didn’t really enjoy, but hey – it paid the bills.

I worked for a large Fortune 500 company that performed background checks for other companies when they wanted to hire a new employee… so you know, not exactly exciting stuff.

Next up we have the Ron Legrand course. Ron gives you a step-by-step start-up plan to acquire properties. The downside to this course is that you will need to spend additional money to get coaching.

Last but not least we have Kris Krohn’s mentorship program. Kris invests in multifamily residential properties and teaches you the long-term buy-and-hold method. The problem with this mentorship is that he makes real estate investing seem very easy, which doesn’t happen once you go out into the real estate world.

There are some things you have to consider before going out your way and purchasing a program online:

  2. Does the program provide you with high-quality information?
  3. Does the coaching time meet your needs?
  4. Is the program well-reviewed?

Would I Recommend Foreclosure Academy?

Let’s begin with the positives:

  • You don’t need an initial investment to start which gives you the opportunity to test out the program to see if it works for you or not.
  • The course is well-detailed, covering the foundations of overage business, and you get a solid understanding of the basics of tax sale overages.
  • It does have a private Facebook group with over 4k members.

Now the negatives:

  • A thorough understanding of the foreclosure laws, which differ from state to state and are not taught in the course, is required as making a mistake could get you into serious legal trouble.
  • Closing foreclosure deals can be time-consuming. Finding leads, negotiating deals, and going through legal matters takes up a lot of your time.
  • The Trustpilot reviews score for this program has a poor rating of 2.2, which means there’s a lot of dissatisfaction amongst its users.

I would not recommend this program as the process of closing foreclosure deals can be extremely time-consuming, and understanding all the foreclosure laws can be difficult to learn. The poor ratings of this program don’t help as well.

I don’t think Foreclosure Academy is scamming you, but it depends on how you see it.

You can make some money from this program, but that’s if you don’t mind working long hours, going through piles of paperwork, and studying all the complicated laws that come with foreclosure.

I just think there are better options out there to invest your time.
