Summary

This is not a course, so there’s no real curriculum or mentoring. It’s just done for you automations for your small business in the ecommerce market. You might learn something by watching what the team does for you, but that’s about it. There’s not really a community either.

The Good Stuff

  • You're working with active Walmart stores and Amazon accounts, which are reliable platforms.
  • Automation is the future, which might fill some people with optimism about the program.
  • Ryan Pineda is a fairly well known figure who has made good money from his businesses.

The Bad Stuff

  • There are hundreds of bad reviews, some using the word "scam".
  • Ecommerce is a really bad business model for profits.
  • Automated Amazon and Walmart ecommerce programs tend not to work.

Firstly, Why Am I Writing The Review?

Nice to meet you, my name is Brittney!

My story starts like many do… “slaving away” at a 9-5 job that I didn’t really enjoy, but hey – it paid the bills.

I worked for a large Fortune 500 company that performed background checks for other companies when they wanted to hire a new employee… so you know, not exactly exciting stuff.

For a lot of people, a nice stable job and predictable check coming in every month is the picture of success, but for me, it felt like I was missing out on life.

Clocking in every single day, doing the same tasks over and over again, getting home with barely enough time to make dinner and enjoy some time to myself… only to wake up again the next morning and do it all over again.

I just wanted to enjoy life without being shackled to an unfilling job.

I wanted to be able to take vacations whenever I wanted, for however long I wanted.

I didn’t want to have to beg my boss for a salary increase that barely matched inflation.

I just wanted to be free and happy.

Then about 4 years ago (as a stroke of luck), I stumbled across a program that taught me how to make money online by actually helping real people (local US businesses).

Who Cares About That?

99% of reviewers out there don’t have experience running an actual business. They’re writing about stuff that they have no real experience with.

Why would they do that?

They just want you to click through and buy the program that the review is about!

I have absolutely no relationship with J Rich, so you can rest easy knowing that I’m going to give you my honest opinion.

This review is written based on my own experiences with this business model.

All that being said, let’s jump into things.

TLDR – Are Lunar Automation’s Services Really Worth Your Time?

TLDR – Are Lunar Automation's Services Really Worth Your Time?

The program here is all about ecommerce and dropshipping. Basically, you set up a Walmart store or an Amazon store, or a store on some other platform. Then you start selling products.

When someone buys your product, you pass their information to your third-party sellers, who ship the product to your customer base.

As you might imagine from the name, Lunar Automation gives you a helping hand with automated processes. Store management, product research, and other key online business tasks become a breeze, leaving you free to provide excellent customer service and handle direct customer inquiries.

Ok… so that’s the good stuff. Now for the bad stuff.

  1. E-commerce isn’t exactly the best business model – In fact, it’s not even anywhere near my top ten. The vast majority of people fail with dropshipping, those that do make money are looking at slim margins.
  2. This industry is never ‘hands-free’ – Many aspiring entrepreneurs fail simply because they don’t understand how much work goes into dropshipping. You’ll need to be an expert in digital marketing, SEO, web design, and retail management to be successful with your own online store.
  3. Automation is not a golden ticket – Automation is great for making your life a bit easier. It’s NOT great at running a business for you. I’m very suspicious of any automated system that claims to ‘do it all.’

All of this would make me a little wary of this course anyway. But there’s actually a massive elephant in the room, and we’re all just tip-toeing around it…

The Trustpilot reviews…

My word, I’ve seen some bad Trustpilot reviews in my time, but these are truly terrible. The program is getting hammered from all sides, and the words “scam”, “fraud”, and even “class action” are getting thrown around like they’re going out of style.

The Reddit users…

Those Redditors weren’t going to let the guys at Trustpilot hog all the fun. Reddit users had some choice words for the program too. It’s fair to say that an awful lot of people are seriously unhappy with what they’ve received from Lunar Automation.

I’m no expert on what’s behind this. Sometimes these reviews are just one person holding a grudge… or in this case, about four dozen people. But I think Lunar was already on thin ice with the business model, and those reviews just dropped a great big rock right on top of it.

In case you weren’t sure, it’s a ‘no’ from me.

I much prefer a business model without the uncertainty, controversy, and scam accusations…

Digital Leasing is my #1 for making money online this year. So why is this?

For starters… you’re not touching that tired old dropshipping model with a ten-foot pole. Instead, your profits come from local lead generation.

You set up your first digital rental property… basically a simple website geared towards bringing in hot leads in a specialized niche. Then you lease this site out to your local business partners.

After this, you can use the same techniques to set up as many digital rental properties as you like. Each one is worth around $2,000 to $3,000 a month in semi-passive income. It only takes a few clicks and a few minutes to run your store each day.

And you’re not waiting around for a sale either. It’s called a rental income stream for a reason… you’re getting the same amount, every month, on the dot. You’re in charge, you’re in control, and you’re free to live life on your terms.

Does this sound like a good call to you?

Who Is Lunar Automation For… And Who’s It NOT For?

Who Is Lunar Automation For... And Who's It NOT For

Ryan might make it look like this program is great for everyone, but I’m not so sure. So who can really benefit here?

Who It’s For…

You might get something out of Lunar Automations, if…

  • You haven’t lost faith in ecommerce yet – Ecommerce and dropshipping have lost a lot of fans over the last few years, but if you’re still hanging in there, the program might be of interest.
  • You believe in the power of automation – If you’re a firm believer that automation is the answer to everything, you might want to give this one a go.
  • You don’t mind all the bad comments—If you can dismiss all those negative comments (and there are plenty of them!) as “fake reviews,” you might feel comfortable joining this program.

Who It’s NOT For…

You’re probably better off looking elsewhere, if…

  • You want a reliable income stream – If you don’t get any customers, you don’t get paid. Anyone hoping for a more reliable source of income should probably look elsewhere.
  • You aren’t convinced by the business model – Dropshipping on Amazon stores and other platforms has gotten bad press recently, and this might be a red flag for some.
  • You’re worried about all those “scam” reviews – There really are a lot of reviewers crying “scam” over here, which might be off-putting to say the least!

The 1000 FT View On Ryan Pineda’s program

The 1000 FT View On Ryan Pineda's program

Let’s take a moment to get the bigger picture on this ecommerce and Walmart automation program…

The Lunar Automation Business Model

AreaScoreDescription
Time Investment1.8 out of 5 starsAutomation is supposed to set you free, but don’t hold your breath with this program. I’m very concerned that these systems don’t work.
Level of Control1.5 out of 5 starsIt’s automated ecommerce, and you’re using someone else’s system, so there’s very little control whatsoever.
Ease of Implementation3.1 out of 5 starsI suppose this is where Ryan makes his score up a little bit. It’s very easy to implement what you get from Lunar Automations, simply because you don’t have to do anything yourself.
Profit Potential0.5 out of 5 starsWith all those bad reviews floating around, I’m quite suspicious of whether this program actually works. When we factor in the massive asking price of this course, the profit potential sinks even further.

Lunar Automation is based on the dropshipping and ecommerce business model. This just means setting up an online store, and then getting third party sellers to ship your products to customers.

Because there’s no handling of inventory, and none of the other aspects that can make retail tricky, this is supposed to be an easy route to big money. In fact, it’s been billed as a pandemic proof business. With automation on your side, it’s even easier.

You just sit back, relax, and watch those profits roll on in.

But is this really how automation works in practice? No, of course not. Your Roomba might vacuum your living room for you, and Siri might keep you up to date on all your appointments. But they’re not going to run a super profitable ecommerce business for you.

So why not? Well… here are three key reasons.

  1. You need to do so much to be successful with ecommerce

It’s not just setting up an online store, anyone can do that. It’s content creation, marketing, strategy testing, customer relationship management, product analysis, PPC ads… a massive skillset.

Even the best automated systems in the world can’t give you this.

  1. The profit margins are pretty woeful

You can expect profit margins of between 15% and 20% on your sales. This means if you sell a product worth $2, you’re getting 30 to 40 cents in your pocket.

You’ll need a lot of sales to make this work. And as a new company, you’ll be really far behind.

  1. Account suspension is a very real danger

Amazon accounts, Walmart accounts… they might have your name on them, but they’re not yours. You’re just borrowing your paid or free account from these providers, and they can suspend them at any moment. eBay alone suspended 83,000 accounts in 2020!

If your account gets suspended, your business comes to a halt. You can appeal, but the chances of Amazon, ebay or Walmart reinstating your selling privileges are not guaranteed.

How Much Does Lunar Automations Cost?

One of the most important questions in any Lunar Automation reviews roundup… how much does Lunar Automations cost?

The old done-for-you system was accessible only with a hefty upfront fee. From what I can find, people were paying $22,000 to $30,000 just to get started. Higher levels of service cost around $40,000.

It’s not clear how much the price is now. There’s not much information on the Lunar website. It may be that there’s a free consultation followed by a subscription fee when you sign up.

What Makes Lunar Automation Different?

Lunar Automation is certainly pitched as something a bit more universal than a program like For Good Profits. FGP is application and acceptance only, while Lunar is offered to everyone.

It’s also different to the Lord Ecom course… mainly because of the ‘course’ aspect. there’s no course with Lunar Automation, there’s just done-for-you automated service, and the hope that they’ll make you money.

Reviewing The Guru – Who Is Ryan Pineda?

Ryan Pineda

This isn’t the first rodeo for Ryan Pineda. He’s created a few other different courses, mainly centered on wealth building and real estate investment. He made his money flipping houses, so he knows a thing or two about this.

Actually, Ryan has lived quite a life. He was once a professional baseball player, batting for the Oakland Athletics. He’s also an author, having written the bestselling book Flip Your Future.

His latest venture is all about ecommerce, and helping aspiring entrepreneurs make a killing the market. By putting automated systems to work, Ryan is out to boost profits and to make life easier for people who sign up and join Lunar Automation.

Is There A Lunar Automations Scam Going On Here?

Googling “Lunar Automation scam” is a bit like heading down to your local zoo and jumping into the lion exhibit. It’s scary, it’s confusing… and it’s probably not gonna end well.

This is the usual drill… I check out the great reviews, I check out the not-so-great reviews, and I check out the downright bad reviews. Then I try to find the truth… generally somewhere in the middle.

With this one, there are no great reviews. There aren’t even any not-so-great reviews. So what are we left with? Yup, that’s right. And there are a lot of them!

Here’s a few highlights…

A bad review for Lunar Automation
  • “Lunar Automation is fraud… Please do not go with Lunar Automation!”
A bad review for Lunar Automation
  • “Lunar automation is a SCAM. They have stollen $30k from me, when I was adamantly communicating I’m a single mother trying to better my life and my children’s lives.”
A bad review for Lunar Automation
  • “If anyone is interested in a potential lawsuit against amazon for fiduciary and to stop Lunar and other companies the ability to have access to seller accounts then contact me at standpointds at the email of…”
A bad review for Lunar Automation
  • “Whatever you do, DO NOT get involved with Lunar Automation or Lunar Automations (they pluralized ‘automation’ as their latest scam). They will take your money and disappear.”

I could go on…

Now I’m not going to sit here and point fingers. I don’t know what happened with these people. I don’t know if they’ve got an ax to grind against Ryan, or maybe he was mean to them in high school or something. I’m not going to say Ryan is a scammer, because I don’t have enough info.

But with so many bad reviews flying around, I’d be pretty wary about investing my money. Sometimes, when the insults are flying, you’ve just got to hold your hands up and “nope” on out of there.

Interestingly, the current owners of the Lunar Automation service… whoever they may be… are trying to distance themselves from all the trouble.

A change of ownership announcement from Lunar Automations

This is just adding the confusion really. So we’ve got Lunar Automation, and Lunar AutomationS, and we’ve also got a company called Lunar Ecom.

Then we’ve got internet commenters saying these are all the same entity. These commenters claim the company likes to change its name, just to come back with another “complete scam” move. We might need more than just a quick “that wasn’t us” post to clear this up.

And why would anyone buy a tarnished domain name anyway, just because they thought it sounded cool? It’s all too weird for me… I’m out.

My Personal Opinion On This Amazon And Walmart Automation Program

My Personal Opinion On This Amazon And Walmart Automation Program

It’s time to get a bit personal with this Lunar Automation review… what’s my opinion on this program?

I’ll just come right out and say it. I do not recommend this program.

Before we get into why, here’s what I’m looking for…

  1. Great resources and support
  2. Exceptional profit potential
  3. Freedom to live your life you’re way

Can Lunar Automation Really Generate Passive Income For You?

No… I don’t think it can.

Here’s why…

  1. For starters, you’re not learning anything. This would be fine if all of the automated systems worked and you turned your ecommerce business into a money machine. But judging by the reviews, I wouldn’t bet on this.
  2. Ecommerce has notoriously bad profit potential. Walmart automation and other systems haven’t been proven to work. Factor in those bad reviews (sorry, we just can’t ignore these) and I’d say the outlook is pretty poor.
  3. But surely the automation is going to set you free? Sure… as long as it’s actually making you money. And I don’t think it is!

That’s a solid 0/3 for Lunar Automation. A big ‘thumbs down’ on this one.

I actually think Digital Leasing is a much better option

For me, Digital Leasing checks each of those three all-important boxes. Here’s how it measures up…

  1. It’s not a done-for-you program. You’re actually learning real, valuable skills from some of the best coaches around.
  2. Local lead generation is a real up-and-coming business model, with profits based on the real value you offer. Your local business partners need great leads, and you’re there to provide them.
  3. Once your first digital rental property is set up, the sky’s the limit. You’re getting semi-passive income and real life freedom.

So what will you do with all that freedom?

Maybe you’ll hit the road, and start ticking off those destination you always dreamed of visiting?

Perhaps a big project is on the cards… learning that instrument, mastering that language, writing that novel?

Or it could be you’ll just spend more quality time with the people who mean the absolute world to you?

The choice is yours!

What’s Inside Lunar Automation?

What's Inside Lunar Automation

Let’s take a look inside this Walmart dropshipping business program… how does the program help you start scaling Walmart stores and other ecommerce assets?

The Current Program – Guides To Automated Business

Some of Lunar's free guides

The current offering from Lunar Automation is all about guiding you to use automation effectively in your dropshipping store. The process is divided into four phases, and the end result is supposed to be a successful ecommerce business model.

The PhaseWhat’s It All About?
Phase #1LearnThe company offers a guide that helps you as you develop automated Amazon or Walmart operations for your business.
Phase #2SelectIn this phase, you select your business type and your industry, and then conduct research into this specific area of e-commerce.
Phase #3ExecuteThis part is all about implementing that Walmart or Amazon automation machine. It should begin to drive your online store, helping you to achieve returns on your initial investment.
Phase #4ScaleThis is where you start scaling Walmart stores, or any other online store you want to run. By now, the process should be almost hands-free, as you coast towards a successful e-commerce store.

The Old Program – Done For You Walmart Marketplace And Amazon Automation

This new offering is very different to the old one. There are not too many details to be found on this, but from what I could find it involved handing over a large investment in return for ecommerce industry automation.

Basically, the team would run their automated business systems until you’ve got a return on your investment. Then the team hands the reins over to you, and you keep on generating profits in a big way…

But, as you will have seen in the scam section of this article… most people said this didn’t work.

My Lunar Automation Review – The Conclusion

Thanks for sticking it out through this Lunar Automation review… I know it’s been a wild ride, with lots of hair-raising Reddit comments and angry Trustpilot users sharing their experiences.

So what have we discovered?

First and foremost, I don’t like this kind of program. I’ve seen first hand just how hard it is to be successful with Amazon and Walmart stores, and I’m very skeptical of anyone who says they can make easy. Sure, automation is cool… but it’s not a miracle worker.

And then… those reviews. Yeah, they’re not good. I’m not saying anyone is a scammer because I don’t know for sure, but there are plenty of people online who are saying exactly that.

So what’s the next stop on your search? If you’re set on ecommerce automation, maybe you’d like to check out another one of my blogs… like this one on Viral Vault.

But the best call, I think, is to just sit tight and learn all about my #1 pick for making money in [YEAR]…

My #1 Way for Making Money Online In 2024!

Introducing a top Lunar Automations alternative.

Our review team has spent months reviewing dozens of business models and thousands of programs.

And the research IS conclusive:

Digital Leasing is the #1 online business model for those just starting out.

Whether you’ve never made a dollar online or you’ve been in this space for a while, Digital Leasing is for you.

Why?

1) It’s Flexible: got an hour a day? You can do this. Even with a little time each day, you can move the needle in a Digital Leasing business.

You can earn PASSIVE INCOME – if you stop working, the money doesn’t.

Imagine taking three months off to just tour around Europe, rent a cabin in the woods to write a book, hike the Appalachian Trail, or live on the beach and surf all day.

You could certainly say Lunar Automation is passive. This is the nature of automated systems after all… they do the work for you! I’m just not sure about the ‘income’ part… there doesn’t seem to be much of that.

2) You Own & Control EVERYTHING: Lunar Automation is basically taking a business model that’s very difficult to control (ecommerce), making it even more difficult to control (by adding automation), and then removing the control altogether (by using someone else’s system).

Whichever way you look at it, you’re not the boss here.

With Digital Leasing, you own all the assets, which means you have all the power and all the control.

3) Little To No Startup Costs: Using the strategies outlined in this program, you can get into digital leasing with zero dollars upfront.

You can have your first Digital Rental Property up and running and generating profits for less than $100.

4) Easy To Duplicate: OK, here’s the best part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up and running, you can literally DOUBLE your income with a few clicks.

Each Digital Rental Property is worth $500 to $2,000 a month in semi-passive income (over 95% profit). It gets easier every time you decide to create another one and increase your income.

With Lunar Automation, you might double your profits if you double your sales, or sell at twice the price. But judging by those sketchy reviews, that’s pretty unlikely.

5) Make Money Helping Real People: Small, local business owners need more customers, and with Digital Leasing, you are unleashing a flood of happy, paying customers for these businesses.

You make money by helping them make money. This part is what makes it all worth it… helping a small business owner in your community. That’s how Digital Leasing makes a real impact in the lives of real people.

Get started today and join a community of over 2,000 successful students who are living life on their own terms and achieving a consistent, reliable, semi-passive stream of income while helping real people.

If this sounds more like what you want out of life click here to learn more about Digital Leasing.
