Brett Fallarino – aka Lord Ecom – is teaching you all about dropshipping in his Ecommerce Ad Secrets program. I’m really impressed with this guy’s backstory and the fact he offers regular mentoring and coaching calls. This really seems like a guru who cares.
My concern, though, is the business model itself. When everyone and their grandpa jumped on the ecom bandwagon a few years ago, this was a sign that the market was stretching to the point of collapse. Now… I’m worried it’s already come crashing down!
So, so, so late to the party…
It’s a bit like you got an invite to the best party ever and you aren’t sure what to wear. Then you forget your phone and have to rush back. It’s raining, and there’s a queue for the cab. More specifically, the course is about dropshipping with a Shopify store. And even more specifically, we’re talking about leveraging Facebook ads to drive traffic and make more money from your efforts.
So you’ll learn about targeting these Facebook ads to specific customers, optimizing ad spend, and using tools and services to maximize your income.
So far so good… just bear this few things in mind before you dive in.
- Shopify dropshipping is getting crowded – Back in 2017, 5.16% of Shopify stores were run by dropshippers. In 2021, it was 12.82% and it’s still growing. It’s getting increasingly difficult to stand out.
- Product research is getting harder – There’s so much competition for the big selling product categories that finding your niche is hard. Clothing has traditionally been the best category for dropshippers
- Facebook is picky about ads – The Facebook ads policy changes every few months. An update in 2023, for example, introduced automated takedowns, so your ads could just disappear in the blink of an eye.

You’ve probably noticed that there are a lot of ecommerce courses and gurus out there at the moment. So what exactly makes Lord Ecom stand out?
Well, I’d certainly say it stands apart from a course like the one from Wholesale Underground, simply because Lord Ecom is more about Shopify stores, while WU targets the Amazon FBA model.
It’s also different from other programs in the dropshipping industry. I’m talking dropshipping programs like Cash Cow Academy, which focus on TikTok organic engagement and ads, rather than Brett’s more Facebook-focused approach.
The Guru Reviewed – What’s Brett Fallarino All About?
Lord Ecom himself is not really a lord… he doesn’t live in a castle and slay dragons, at least not yet. But he does have a very impressive history in digital marketing, ecommerce, and dropshipping.
He started out with the dropshipping model back in 2017, and it seems like he found the whole thing pretty easy. Less than 50 days after he launched his Shopify store, Brett says he’d scored $43,000… this is the kind of success even the most hardcore dropship lifestyle fans can only dream of, and he did it in only a couple of months.
Now Brett’s mission is to show other people how they can do the same. By building a select group of 100 students, he promises to teach e-commerce in ways people love… giving them relevant, high-quality information that will see them go from $0 to $1,000,000 of income rapidly through online sales and ‘think outside the box’ com techniques.
Is There A Lord Ecom Scam To Worry About?
This is the big question at the heart of my Lord Ecom review… is this program legit?
I’d say it’s legit. I’ve seen nothing to suggest this is a scam.
Brett Fallarino has done pretty well running Facebook ads, and he believes he can help you do the same. With his methods, he says you can make more money from your dropshipping business, and he backs this up with mentoring and with community support.
There’s also a 90-day money-back guarantee, so I’d say you’re getting what you pay for just about.
There a few things I’d like to flag though…
- I can’t quite “math the math” on those claims – Brett talks about making millions of dollars from dropshipping, and up to $30k a day. I can’t get my head around this data and how it’s possible with this business model.
- I’d like to see more independent testimonials – There is lots of great review content on Brett’s website, but I couldn’t find many independent testimonials. I’d like to know more about the full customer experience.
- The drop shipping industry isn’t getting any easier – Things have changed a lot since Brett made a fortune on his Shopify store. I’m not certain there’s still that much potential left in the model you’re paying to learn.
So yeah, I’d say no scam. But I’d still tread pretty carefully if you do want to enter this market.
My Personal Opinion On Lord Ecom And The Ecommerce Ad Secrets Program
Ok, so what’s my personal opinion here? Are Lord Ecom and Ecommerce Ad Secrets your tickets to dropshipping megabucks?
I’d have to say… no.
First of all, here’s what I need to see from a program like this…
- Exceptional coaching and materials
- Real profit potential
- The chance to live your life on your teams
Is Ecommerce Ad Secrets The Right Choice For A Dropshipping Side Hustle?
Well… maybe as a side hustle. But I just can’t see you making so much money from this. Especially not to the tune of “24k/30k bucks a day”… or almost a quarter mill in your first month… like Brett suggests…
Here’s why…
- The coaching and materials aren’t the problem here – Brett gives regular coaching and offers a load of assets that he himself has used with great effectiveness!
- My biggest concern is the profit margins… it’s really hard to make a good income from dropshipping in 2024, and this is not getting any easier.
- And freedom? Well… some people definitely enjoy freedom from dropshipping, but newcomers are so late to the party that they’re working round the clock even to get a sniff of the action.
So it’s a no from me.
I much prefer business models that are based on services of real value… models like Digital Leasing.

Brett makes some pretty big promises about these calls. He says that mentoring provides the solution to hitting $30k a day… or $24k a day, depending on which part of his spiel you look at.
Either way, it’s a big number. If that’s the case, these calls are some of the best value sessions I’ve seen anywhere online!
I’m not sure you’re really going to hit these kind of figures yourself, but taking the time to offer face to face chats and coaching sessions is certainly commendable.
Standard Operating Procedures, Tools, and Templates
The last part of the program is basically a bunch of tools, templates and SOPs to help you on your drop shipping journey.
Brett says these assets can help you set your business up for great profit margins before you’ve even spent anything on ads.

Let’s wrap this Lord Ecom review up…
Is this a good way to learn about dropshipping? Sure… the regular coaching and mentoring calls in particular are very cool.
But is dropshipping a good way to make money? Maybe in 2015 it was… these days the model is tired, oversaturated, and flagging.
If you want to get into ecommerce because you love the model, go for it. If you want to make solid income… I’d say you’re search isn’t quite over yet.
