Alex Becker the creator of H COM 2020 eCommerce dropshipping course will show you how to start an eCommerce business on Shopify. You will learn how to do branding, email marketing, Facebook ads, print on demand, and much more correctly.
The course is designed for newbies, so learning how to start an ecommerce business from A to Z will be easy.
Now, I want to be completely honest here, so…
H-com 3030 isn’t too different from most dropshipping courses.
Sure, their marketing makes some great promise you haven’t heard from the other dropshipping gurus, but at the end of the day, no magic bullet overcomes the massive pitfalls of this business model.
Let’s get something clear:
There is NOTHING passive about dropshipping, no matter how well most course creators sell the dream.
If you want that travel-the-world-making-money-while-you-sleep-laptop-lifestyle, dropshipping isn’t for you.
To run a successful dropshipping business, you need to be constantly on the lookout for new products.
Scouring the internet for hot trends and trying to find the next fidget spinner will take hours out of your day.
Not to mention, it’s not enough to just have the hot new product…
You also need to get the customers.
That means ads…
Lots and lots of ads…
Testing, tweaking, targeting, spending thousands if not tens of thousands of dollars before breaking even.
Not to mention, Facebook hates dropshipping, meaning one of your top traffic sources could shut you down at any time.
All of this leads to a very stressful life, not a lot of money, and a lot of time wasted.
Time that could be better spent so you can actually live the life you want.
Now, what if there was a way you could build a passive income stream that’s actually passive?
An income stream that doesn’t require:
- Physical Products
- Low Margins
- Long Wait Times
- Angry Customers
- Thousands of dollars testing different ad campaigns
An income stream that brings in consistent revenues every single month (from a couple thousand dollars to well over $10,000)?
An income stream you could actually build in your spare time, and grow as large or as small as you want to, without having to spend hours a day running ads, researching products, and trying not to get banned by whatever platforms you’re using?
If that sounds like something you’d be interested in, check out Digital Real Estate.
This is nothing like dropshipping, and that’s probably a good thing.
However, if you’d still like to know more about H-com 3030, keep reading….
What H-Com 3030 Claims To Offer You
The Hero Ecommerce Program, also known as H-Com 3030, is a 9-week online program. It’s goal is help you in creating a Shopify store and getting it profitable in as short of time as possible with step by step proven methods taught by E-Commerce experts making at least $500,000 a MONTH in revenue.
The course walks you through the process of choosing your first products, building a store, and buying super cheap Facebook advertising to get clients in two weeks.
The course is claimed to be 100% beginner-friendly. This program is designed for the complete beginner who has no prior experience in eCommerce. During the nine-week course, you will learn everything you need to know about opening stores in good markets, selecting the best products, and attracting customers.
H-Com 2020 Review
So, let us discuss H-Com 2020. There are several ecommerce courses offered, and I have reviewed a few of them. Is the course worth the investment?
I’ll help you in going to the course so you can understand what you’re getting for $1997, or maybe five installments of $597 — that’s a bit pricey. Devin Zander and Matt Schmidt — two well-known marketers in the business – collaborated with Alex Becker on this.
Matt is successful with dropshipping and Print on Demand products, whereas Devin is the founder of Smar7, which creates apps for the Shopify platform.
The course is divided into 10 weeks of training. The first two days are all about jumping right in and getting started.
This is followed by an introduction to the course and videos on what Shopify is, registering, designing, and putting your store together.
You will also receive videos on:
- Essential Apps
- Getting started with Smar7 Apps
- Importing and finding Products
- Shopify Product Optimization
- Creating your Facebook Page
This first part is called as the “Quickstart” section since it allows you to skip everything else in the course and get your first product ready to market right away. It’s a different way of doing things, and it’s totally Alex Becker’s style.
You may take this information and do something with it, or you can continue with the course content. The choice and appropriate pace are entirely up to you.
Picking Out The Perfect Products
In the “Products Section,” you’ll discover how to find products, what to look for, a video on Print on Demand vs. Drop Shipping, and POD types.
They don’t just use AliExpress to find products; they also use other sites. Looking on AliExpress, on the other hand, is a good thing. After you start looking for winners, you will also learn how to scale your products. Trendspotting is taught that it is best to know so that you can buy things in their early phases.
This week is all about designing your store to optimize conversion rates. Ugly stores will not cut it! You will learn the following:
- How you can get your logo made
- Choosing best color scheme
- Optimization of product pages
- Editing your home page
There’s a lot to learn in this area, and although it’s great, you’re probably better off getting a premium design that’s already optimized for both speed and conversion rate. They also promote apps here, and a great premium design may include similar features to an app.
Below you’ll discover what kinds of offers you should be marketing and how to present them for optimum conversions. It’s only a small part, but it’s certainly worth seeing.
Print On Demand
There is a separate segment on Print on Demand, so if this is something that interests you, Matt teaches in this section.
If you want to start a dropshipping store, you must first focus on your brand. I do not care what you’re selling. If people do not recognize your brand, they are unlikely to buy from you.
This is precisely why retargeting is so important, but hold for a second – that is for another time. You will learn the following in this section of the program:
- The most effective way for creating logos
- The most effective way for producing sales materials
- Learn how to make trust right away
- Learn how to use your brand to generate conversions.
Matt Schmidt will teach you all you need to know about Facebook Ads right here. Several of the videos cover topics such as finding your target audience, what to look for, power editor targets, scaling targeting, understanding ads, ad Copy, and The Facebook pixel.
The Facebook training is fine, but I would have expected a lot more for the money you invest on this course. It is not quite as rigorous a module as I have found in Ecom Elites, which gets into much more in-depth info with FB Ads.
This session will teach you the fundamentals of Google Analytics, reporting, monitoring FB Ads, Data Analysis & Scaling, putting objectives and channels together, and tracking product performance.
All of the videos in this section are under 2 hours long, so you’ll have a clear understanding of how to assess your data, which is essential in ecommerce. If you ignore this, you will end yourself losing money and missing out on opportunities.
In this session, Alex promotes his autoresponder, Market Hero. He gives a brief overview of why you’ve used email for ecommerce, explains the relationship between you and your customer, what you should be pushing in your Shopify list, and so on.
If you buy H-Com 2020, you get a free trial of Market Hero (with with training), but you may also use an autoresponder of your choice, such as getting Response. However, the training is given by Market Hero, which is not surprising.
Instagram Influencer Marketing
This part has five videos, each lasting 5 minutes, that will teach you how to find influencers on Instagram.
Many online marketers choose this sort of marketing, and if you know what you’re doing, you may make a lot of money from it. It’s a short clip, but you’ll still learn something if you’ve never looked into this before.
This food section goes into more in-depth information by showing the structure of an ideal sales video, how to evaluate a sales video, webinar pitches, webinar creation, and so on.
This strategy will not be used by many of you, but it is provided in case you decide to look for different channels in marketing than what you’re used to.
There is also a YouTube section where you can learn how to create and also produce ads on YouTube.
Who Is Alex Becker?
Alex Becker is an online company entrepreneur who is well-known for his YouTube Channel where he collaborates with other internet business owners to offer classes. He is also an author.
However, as of March 2020, he is far better known as a strict minimalist who follows an awoke way of life. Alex sold his house, autos, and maybe his furniture’s.
Nonetheless, he has an apartment where he shoots all of his YouTube videos… Speaking of which, Alex revealed on March 11 that he was considering letting his YouTube channel “die” in order to focus on becoming the CEO of his software company. As a result, it is unclear what the future holds for Alex and his eCommerce education.
According to wealthypersons.com, Alex has a net worth of $15 million as of March 2020. He made his fortune as an internet business owner, SEO expert, and course creator.
Regardless of his current lifestyle, Alex maintains a significant YouTube following, with over 400k followers. His YouTube channel has around twenty-five million views.
That is really impressive.
Alex’s YouTube Channel was generally focused to eCommerce before he picked his extreme minimalist/woke way of living. He is the mastermind behind all of this.

As a result, the entire week is devoted to mindset.
This week-long program includes eleven lesson videos totaling 46 minutes in duration.
WEEK 2: 3030 BUILD
This part is provided by Devin and Matt. They guide you through the fundamental steps of setting up your Shopify store.
They cover what Shopify is and why it’s used, domain names and shop names, registering for Shopify, choosing a design, the Shopify dashboard, transaction, checkout, and shipping, as well as setting your plan, throughout the week.
This week-long module includes fifteen lesson videos totaling 51 minutes in duration.
WEEK Three: Products & Dropshipping
This week is divided into 3 areas. There is a brief introduction/overview segment of 2 video lessons, followed by a section on Print-on-Demand and Dropshipping.
Each part covers the fundamentals, such as choosing a product and suppliers, as well as including products and designs in your scaling and store.
This week-long module has 13 lesson videos totaling 2 hours in duration.
WEEK Four: Sales
Week 4 focuses on the topic that everyone is most interested in: generating money!
The main topics discussed are store conversion rate optimization, page optimization, checkout optimization, and improving session conversion.
This week-long module includes 6 lesson videos totaling 1 hour and 23 minutes in duration.
WEEK Five: Ads
Your online business will most likely fail if you do not use good marketing. Facebook is one of the most comprehensive and popular marketing tools for drop shippers.
You will learn the following during this week’s training:
- Create your Facebook accounts.
- Learn about the FB Pixel and how to set it up.
- How to Make an Ad and Ad Campaigns
- Learn about targeting, including the do’s and don’ts.
- Test your ads to see when you should stop an advertisement set and when you should re-use it.
This week-long module includes sixteen lesson videos totaling 2 hours and 26 minutes in duration.
WEEK Six: Scale
The course also covers scaling, which includes increasing your budget, lookalike audiences, designing ads, and guiding you through various scaling stages.
This week-long module includes six lesson videos totaling 1 hour and 2 minutes in duration.
WEEK Seven: Maintain
Once you’ve effectively scaled your Ads, it’s time to maintain them running at full capacity. You will use this module when you have a product/s that perform very well, based on the previous two stages. This module includes a manual Bidding Strategy, data-driven Scaling, and a LAA Strategy.
Matthew explains everything in layman’s terms and gives you backstage footage from his Ads Manager account.
This week-long module has only three lesson videos totaling 33 minutes in duration.
WEEK Eight: Advanced Tactics
Once you’ve efficiently scaled your Ads, it’s time to maintain them running at full capacity. The eighth week is divided into three sections: email marketing, advanced sales tactics, and influencer marketing.
Alex provide many fantastic tips about how to use the Hero Marketer Software. However, in order for an email advertising plan to be successful, you must have a complete email list. If you’re just starting out, don’t expect to make a lot of money from this. Warning : it will take several weeks to build a decent-sized email list.
This week-long module has only seventeen lesson videos totaling 2 hours and 1 second in duration.
WEEK Nine: Elite Level Scale
In Week 9, the goal is for you to have made enough sales to justify the following turning techniques: product pipeline, retargeting, launch scheduling, and team scaling.
This week-long program has only six lesson videos totaling 49 minutes in duration.
Is H-com 3030 A Scam?
So, is H-com 3030 a scam?
Not technically. You can make money with this program, but it’s definitely not as easy as Alex Becker makes it sound.
There’s a ton of work to be done upfront, no real guarantee of success, and – most importantly – you need to do a ton of volume to make any real money.
Now, there’s nothing wrong with front-loading the work and making the money later.
But if you’re grinding it out for 3 months, $3-5k in the hole on ads (because that whole “get started with $5 a day” thing is total BS) and then your reward is 15% profit on a $12 product (which comes out to $1.80), it’s not really worth it.
What if, instead, you could do that same 3 months of work (in your spare time), and your reward was a $500 to $2,000 payment that came in every single month?
And what if you actually didn’t need to wait 3 months? What if you could get started today and have your first payment in a week?
And what if you could double it next week?
Well, that’s the power of Digital Real Estate.
And, unlike dropshipping, you can legitimately do this from anywhere. It’s a true lifestyle business.
Your laptop and an internet connection is all you need.
Some of the most successful students in this program run their entire 6-figure businesses from:
- A camper in the middle of the woods
- A beach chair on the water in Mexico
- A small villa in Greece
They’re able to travel around, living their lives first, and focusing on their income second.
Because even if they stop working for an extended period of time, the money keeps coming in.
So adventure, memories, and experience are the top priority.
And they never have to worry about how to pay for the next trip, or consider asking for time off.

Is It A Worthwhile Course?
Let us begin with this declaration from the study course sales/landing page site:
“This is 100 % beginner-friendly. This specific program is made to benefit a complete novice with no previous knowledge. Through the ten-week course, you are going to get all that you have to create stores in successful niches, choose the correct products, and also receive purchasing buyers to those products.”
However, suppose you do some research on H-Com and the Hero E Commerce programs. In that case, you’ll see postings on Reddit and other places where newbies are unsatisfied and disagree with the above statement.
There are students that believe the program isn’t always clear about which steps to take and that the support system is inadequate. It’s no better on the personal FB Group. It has been observed that, rather than providing peer support, the more experienced students make fun of the newbies — and this includes the course creators! The atmosphere is condescending, which is not ideal to helping and nurturing newcomers.
If you stick with Alex or watch a few of his YouTube videos, you will see that he is often a strong teacher. On his YouTube channel, he has been known to yell at “students.” Also, he avoids getting into specifics and frequently skips over areas that would be difficult for pupils – therefore I think that some of the complaints are valid.
Everything will be dependent on you as a person. Many people want a pat on the back to get them moving. Others have been handled with childlike care.
I didn’t think the H-Com training was particularly difficult as I worked through it, despite having several years of dropshipping experience. Beginners, on the other hand, will find dropshipping training challenging.
That is why a supportive community is so important. You should not be afraid to ask questions, especially concerning dropshipping…
Fortunately, I’m part of a close-knit team that provides professional and motivating help when I have questions. I regret to inform you that this is not a dropshipping group.
Many people struggle with the several aspects of dropshipping.
In fact, check out our Top 5 Reason Why Dropshippers Fail.
Now, don’t get me wrong…
You can certainly make money with dropshipping, but if you’re gonna put in the amount of grueling work to do this business (which, trust me, isn’t easy), you might as well bring in some REAL money while you’re learning the ropes.
Are There Alternatives To H-com 3030?
Yes, there are plenty of Dropshipping programs and resources to choose from if you want to pursue this business model. Here are just a few:
What Is Our Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2022?
The ScamRisk team has spent months researching, reviewing, and vetting dozens of business models and thousands of programs.
While there may be no “perfect business”, the research IS conclusive:
Whether you’ve never made a dollar online, or you’ve been in this space for a while but never really “made it,” Digital Real Estate is for you.
1) It’s Flexible: got an hour a day? You can do this. Ready to drop everything else and dive in full time? You can do this. Yes, the more time you put in, the faster you see results. But even with a little time each day, you can move the needle in a Digital Real Estate business.
And because this system is so flexible, you don’t have to constantly be working to make more money. It’s called PASSIVE INCOME because if you stop working, the money doesn’t.
Imagine taking 3 months off to just tour around Europe, rent a cabin in the woods to write a book, hike the Appalachian Trail, or live on the beach and surf all day.
This is only possible if you have an income stream that’s not tied to your time.
2) You Own & Control EVERYTHING: With dropshipping, you don’t really own anything. You have no control over the quality of products. You don’t even own the products because they go straight from the supplier to the customer.
Yes, if you’ve got a Shopify store, you technically own that. But if every ad platform suits you down, you’ve got a store with no customers. Which is literally worthless.
With Digital Real Estate, you own the assets, which means you have all the power and all the control.
3) Little To No Startup Costs: It’s possible to get into Digital Real Estate with zero dollars upfront. Because, using the strategies outlined in this program, you can get a client to pay you BEFORE spending a penny out of your own pocket…even before you do any work.
Even without getting paid in advance, you can have your first Digital Rental Property up, running, and generating profits for less than $100.
4) No Inventory: Ok, so technically you don’t have to worry about inventory since you’re not filling up your garage or a warehouse with products.
But, you still have all the headaches of a physical products business.
Since most dropshipped products come from China, you already have a 2-3 week wait time from when a customer places an order.
But right now, with global supply chain issues, your customers would be lucky to get anything in less than a month.
Imagine finally landing your first customer after months of experimenting, and then getting hit with a refund request or chargeback because they had to wait 6 weeks to get their order.
With Digital Real Estate, a 100% online business, you never even have to think about that risk.
5) Easy To Duplicate: Ok, here’s the best part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up and running, you can literally DOUBLE your income with a few clicks, a couple keystrokes, and a single phone call (and you don’t actually need the phone call).
Remember: each Digital Rental Property is worth $500 to $2,000 a month in semi-passive income (over 95% profit). Every time you decide to create another one and increase your income, it gets easier.
Because you have more knowledge, more experience, more results, and more momentum.
If you wanted to double your income with dropshipping, you’d have to double your inventory, your profit margins, OR your average order value. And, guaranteed that’s a lot harder than a few clicks and a few minutes of your life.
6) Make Money Helping Real People: This part is what makes it all worth it. 99.9% of the time, dropshipping provides no value to anyone but the seller.
In a lot of cases, it has a negative impact on the customer because of poor product quality and an overall bad experience (i.e. waiting 6 weeks to get your order).
And that makes it pretty hard to sleep at night.
But with Digital Real Estate, you’re actually helping people by solving your clients’ biggest problem:
Small, local businesses need more customers, and with Digital Real Estate, you are unleashing a flood of happy, paying customers for these businesses.
You make money by helping them make money.
Not a big, faceless corporation either…a small business owner who’s using that money to put food on the table for their family, start a college fund for their kids, or take care of a sick parent.
Once you see how Digital Real Estate makes a real impact in the lives of real people, you’ll sleep like a baby with a big smile on your face.
Now, the choice is yours. You could continue browsing, looking at opportunities like [insert program name] which could one day make you money.
You could continue researching, never making a decision.
OR, you could take a look inside, consider what you really want, and join a program that makes your dreams a reality. At the same time, joining a community of over 2,000 successful students that are living life on their own terms thanks to Digital Real Estate.
A consistent, reliable, semi-passive stream of income that doesn’t depend on you or your time to keep producing profits.
All while genuinely helping real people who are grateful and happy to pay for it.
