TLDR – Can Travel Blog Prosperity Unlock That Dream Globetrotting Lifestyle?

Jessica Festa provides a suite of online blogging courses designed to help you live out your globe-trotting dreams and achieve travel blogging prosperity.
I actually love what she’s done with her package of travel blogging courses. She’s laid out a ton of different resources to help you on your blogging journey. I think if you love writing, love travelling, and love sharing your finds with the world, this could be for you.
My only issue is not actually with the course or with Jessica at all… both are great, I’d say! My issue is with the idea of monetizing your time off. Basically, selling your happy place.
Ruined vacations and the risk of burnout…
A candlelit dinner on the French Riviera shifts from a romantic moment to just another blogging opportunity. A spontaneous excursion gets missed because it doesn’t fit your blog schedule this week and, anyway, you’ve got a deadline to hit. You have to cancel that tranquil cabin you booked in the Swiss Alps because your publisher wants you to cover the La Tomatina tomato-throwing festival in Spain instead.
Maybe you see what I’m getting at. Turning your vacation into work means… well, it means your vacation turns into work! Burnout is a very, very real possibility when you’re auctioning off your downtime.
This is Digital Leasing. With Digital Leasing, you set up a simple but effective website in a specialized niche. Something like emergency plumbing in Chandler, Arizona, or tree stump removal in Keene, New Hampshire.
Then you lease this digital space to your local business partner. They get the leads they need to propel their business to the stars. And you get solid income, all the control, and a whole lot of freedom.
Become a travel writer on your own terms…
So you dream of being a travel blogger? You long to spellbind your audience with inspiring articles from the world’s most incredible destinations? Well, now you can. It’ll only take a few minutes and a few clicks out of your day to run your digital rental property, and the rest of that time is all yours.
Those dreams of writing and travel are at your fingertips, without the deadlines, work stress, or financial pressure.

Who Is Travel Blog Prosperity For… And Who’s It NOT For?

Like all the best travel blogging courses, this one’s pretty specific. So who is this actually going to work for?
Who It’s For…

The travel blog course might work for you, if…
- You already have a travel blog – This is best suited to people who are already writing and want to achieve blog biz growth.
- You dream of sharing your travel experiences with the world – Passionate writers and travelers will get the best from the course.
- You don’t mind combining work and leisure – Vacations won’t be true vacations anymore, and you’ll have to be ok with that.
Who It’s NOT For…

The course probably isn’t going to work for you, if…
- You’re looking for reliable income – Travel blogging isn’t the most reliable income stream even with an SEO-optimized blog post and a fantastic Facebook strategy!
- You don’t really like writing – If you don’t like writing… well, it’s called Travel Blog Prosperity, so you’ll need to like writing, otherwise it just won’t work.
- You like to rest, relax, and recharge on vacation – If you like vacations to be relaxing, you might want to choose a different course.
The 1000 FT View On Travel Blog Prosperity

Just like when you’re taking in a stunning view on vacation, sometimes you need to get the bigger picture before you can really appreciate what you’re working with.
The Travel Blog Prosperity Business Model

Is the Travel Blog Prosperity Worthwhile?
Area | Score | Description |
---|---|---|
Time Investment | 2.1 out of 5 stars | There are plenty of resources, but you’ll need to keep paying subscription for access, so it’s not really self-paced. Launching your career will take time too. |
Level of Control | 2.0 out of 5 stars | Jessica does her very best to help you achieve control in a very ‘control-free’ market. But at the end of the day you’re still at the mercy of publishers, advertisers, and platforms. |
Ease of Implementation | 2.0 out of 5 stars | Again, Jessica really gives you lots to work with here. I just worry that actually putting it into practice might be more difficult than it first appears. |
Profit Potential | 2.4 out of 5 stars | Some people certainly make a load of money from travel blogging, but most do not make enough to get by. This is why I’m going down the middle on this one. |
The Travel Blog Prosperity business model is… you guessed it… travel blogging.
You go to a lovely place. You take some photos, you write about it, and you get paid. Simple as that.
But why would anyone pay you to create an online trip journal? Well, for lots of reasons. Travel bloggers can…
- …host ads on their own blog posts, increasing exposure for their clients.
- …take guest posting opportunities on other blogs and websites.
- …build affiliate links into their content.
- … go on press trip excursions.
- …get free tips to far-flung destinations.
- … go to travel blogging conferences to network and meet other bloggers.
- … work with tourism boards and other bodies.
These are just a few examples of a successful travel blog lifestyle. And, of course, you get to live the dream of travel, freedom, being your own boss, all that jazz.
It sounds great, right? But just bear a few things in mind before you dive in headfirst with this one…
- There were 600 million blogs online in 2023, and many of these are travel blogs – That’s right… 600 million! Most of these are personal blogs… things people do for fun. To make a profitable business out of this, you’ll probably need to be in the top 0.001%.
- Working remotely is still working – Most people go on holiday to get away from it all. If you want to run a successful blog, you’ve got to do the opposite. This will mean tapping out a blog post on your laptop with a deadline looming when everyone else is in the pool, or taking on paid opportunities when you’d rather just chill for a week.
- You’ve got to do a lot more than just take pics and write – Running your blog means doing all the writing and everything else! Handling search engine optimization, running an effective social media strategy, and managing partner relations, all while still blogging articles on a regular basis.
I don’t want to put anyone off travel writing. It’s a wonderful thing to do. But it’s important to be fully aware of what you’re dealing with before you sign up for the course.
How Much Does Travel Blog Prosperity Cost?

So you can get instant access to Travel Blog Prosperity for $49.
You’ll need to pay this $49 every month to stay a member.
Confusingly, I also found the package advertised at $59 a month… but the checkout page still shows $49.

I did find a special offer, which seems to be $9 for your first month, but as of February 2024, this isn’t available.
How Is Travel Blog Prosperity Different?

Jessica Festa’s course is certainly very different from a program like Low Content Publishing, because travel blogging requires really high quality, super useful material. You can’t get away with a low-content approach.
It also stands apart from Freelance Writing Jobs For Beginners. FWJFB is more general, and doesn’t teach you any skills… while Jessica focuses on travel, and teaches you basically everything!
Reviewing The Guru – What’s Jessica Festa All About?

Jessica Festa is the guru behind Travel Blog Prosperity, and the famous Jessie On A Journey blog. She’s been running Jessie On A Journey since 2011, and has also run another blog – Epicure & Culture – since 2012.
In fact, Jessica has lots of things going on. She works with tour guides and pro photographers in New York City, giving her clients amazing memories as part of her NYC Photo Journeys project. On top of this, she’s written a whole bunch of different travel, culture, dining, and technology articles. Her work appears in the Huffington Post, Matador, Triply, The Deal Meal, A Luxury Travel Blog, USA Today, and in many more print and digital publications.
As you might expect, she’s an avid traveler. Her social media gives a glimpse into her exciting lifestyle, as she travels the world writing and blogging. It’s truly inspiring stuff, and enough to make anyone want to get online and book tickets to their dream destination, stat!
Is There A Travel Blog Prosperity Scam To Worry About?

This is the most important part of the Travel Blog Prosperity review for many people… and I don’t blame you! No one wants to get scammed! So what exactly is the verdict here?
No scam here. Nope. Just a really cool woman who’s made her own profitable blogging business, and has built her Travel Blog Prosperity course to try to help you do the same.
Not only is this not a scam… I’d say this is right up there with the best travel blogging course options around. Jessica really leaves no stone unturned with her course, and Travel Blog Prosperity covers everything from running a successful social media strategy and gaining free Pinterest SEO traffic to handling the tax side of things so you can go about your blogging legally.
Scammers are supposed to cheat people out of their money. Jessica’s online course is simply giving too much in return to be a scam. If you’re out to hone your skills in this niche, it could be a good fit.
A few words of warning about the business model…
But do I think this is a good way to make money online? Now this is where I’m not so sure. Even with Jessica’s help, the blogging business is hard. Industry stats suggest that travel bloggers only start seeing small returns after a solid two years of work, and won’t be making enough to live on until five years down the line. Most of us can’t just take five years off to pursue our dreams like that.
And that’s only for the travel bloggers who actually make it. So many travel bloggers do not make it. I personally know a few who write beautifully, take amazing pictures, and deliver inspiring results. I love reading their stuff, and loads of people just like me can’t wait for their next blog post. But they’re not making more than a couple of hundred dollars even on the best months, and they’re certainly not quitting their day jobs.

This Reddit poster seems to agree. They still write and blog here and there but it’s not a major source of income for them.

They say they still read travel blogs, but that future bloggers should only consider joining this industry if they are genuinely passionate about what they are doing. If not, it’s super hard to stand out.
If you love writing for writing’s sake. If you love travel and enjoy putting your experiences into words. Then go for it. This is a great thing to do, and it’s very rewarding. Just remember to make time for yourself on vacation, and don’t burn yourself out! Travel blogging might be fairly glamorous work, but it’s still work!
My Personal Opinion On Travel Blog Prosperity

Ok, so what do I really think about Jessica’s collection of travel blogging courses? Is Travel Blog Prosperity worth your time, money, and effort?
I actually like this course a lot. Jessica comes off as a pretty inspiring person, and I’d go as far as to say she’s created one of the best travel blogging courses out there. Good work girl!
But do I recommend this course to someone who is just out to make reliable money from a winning business model?
No, I don’t.
Here’s what I’m looking for from a course like this…
- Amazing coaching and content
- A straightforward route to big profits
- Huge levels of freedom
Will Travel Blog Prosperity Bring You Your Dream Lifestyle?

Unfortunately, I don’t think it will. At least, not by itself.
Here’s why…
- Well, there’s no fault to be found here. Jessica is a great coach and provides loads of really cool materials. There are also plenty of top guest coaches too. Check!
- This is where I get a bit worried. I’m not sure that Travel Blog Prosperity helps you make big profits all by itself. It’s a great course, but most bloggers just aren’t making enough money here. Fail.
- And freedom? Well, traveling around the world probably looks like freedom. But how free are you when you’re on the road while your bank account sits stagnant… or working constantly during your vacation time? It’s a tricky one… but I’d say this is a ‘Fail‘ too.
So that’s only 1/3, and I just can’t recommend Jessica’s excellent travel blog course to people who are looking to make money.
If only there was another way. If only you could pursue travel and blogging dreams without the pressure, backing yourself up with a reliable income while you trot around the globe?
Actually, there is… and it’s Digital Leasing.
With Digital Leasing, you’re creating semi passive income. Once you’re digital rental property is up and running, you’ll be able to manage it with just a few clicks and a few minutes a day. And, as you’re still providing a stunning service to your local business partners, you’ll be getting real income each and every month.
Let’s take a quick look at how Digital Leasing stacks up.
- The coaches and the course are some of the best I’ve seen out there online… and I’ve seen plenty of courses in my time! A definite Check!
- The profits are great. Your local business community has a real need, and you’re providing a real solution. So the money is good and everyone wins! Check!
- And yes… as we’ve just seen, this is a pretty hands-off business model once you’re set up. So there’ll be plenty of freedom too. Check #3!
A 3/3 score for Digital Leasing. So, how about that freedom? What will you do with it?
Maybe you’ll finally have time to spend with your loved ones… the family and friends who make life so special.
And you might want to start travel blogging too! You’ll have the time and the income now, so you can travel the world and inspire your followers without the pressure of blogging full-time.
This might be the perfect choice for anyone who loves travel and writing, and wants to combine the two.
