Jeff Samis and his wife Jessica have created a course called Profit League. This Jeff Samis course teaches you how to profit online using lead generating Facebook ads for small businesses.
I’m gonna go over this particular business model, the good and the bad, and whether it’s worth your time.
I’ll go over a small comparison of what I do with lead generation and how it is different, but first let’s break down the profit league review and course.
What is Jeff Samis Background?
Jeff Samis is 50% of the infamous Samis Duo. He and his wife are specialists within the field of highly profitable Facebook Ads and using that skill to help advertise for businesses.
With his course the Profit League he educates people on how to do what he does: being a master at Facebook advertising.
The students of this course are then able to take that information and learn how to build their own independent advertising agencies.
To be honest there isn’t a whole lot to discover about Jeff’s personal information or early career.
Profit League Course Overview
There is no denying that Jeff and Jessica are master copywriters. And a big perk of being a part of their course is the fact you will have access to a lot of D4U (done for you) advertisement templates that you are able to edit and tweak to your specific needs.
The profit league cost is somewhat of a deterrent and I will get to that in a minute but I wanted to go over a few things first.
You receive multiple LIVE training sessions with Jeff and Jessica during the weeks of your course and you have access to a private Facebook community.
Jeff understands this isn’t something everyone can do, even with training, there is a certain “X” factor and innate talent that is needed for this marketing ability to be fruitful.
You will be taught how to use Clickfunnels ( and this may or may not be expressly told to you but you will have to also purchase this recurring service at $97 per month) to build funnel pages for these businesses, which you will then run Facebook Ads to.
The skill comes into play because these cannot be a normal ad, you must design a killer ad, with an amazing image, and the piece de resistance is the ad copy (the word content) .
The stuff that’s gonna stop a person in their scrolling and get them to click it (which isn’t easy to do, we call this interruption marketing).
One of the biggest obstacles I’ve found with Facebook Ads, is that if your click through rate isn’t high enough you will lose money on your campaign.
There also is a big piece of the puzzle missing that isn’t really laid out. It takes a lot of work to run a Facebook Ad.
There is a continuous amount of work checking, updating, monitoring, and tweaking that goes into having a successful campaign.
The time and effort it takes to do this as a successful business is severely underplayed. And even though they do say the course “isn’t for everyone”, I also felt they aren’t really stating why.
So if you are not ready to dedicate an immense amount of time to learning this particular skill set then maybe find another course, especially since the profit league cost is pretty high.
Also of note, unless you have got a deep pocket of business disposable income to just toss around while you test your ads, it’s imperative you have a paying customer first before running your campaign.
A big check in the advantages box of this business blueprint though is if you have a client credit card, you can establish your ad campaign within 24 hours and start generating a profit just as quickly.
What exactly can you expect from the Profit League?
- Two coaching calls a week to ask all your questions
- Over twenty ad campaigns that you can use or model after
- Email and sales scripts you can adjust to close those deals
- Learn how you can use FB Ads effectively, use Clickfunnels for landing pages, and help building email marketing campaigns for all your leads
Remember when I talked about that X Factor?
You need to be considerably effective at sales to do this, having the gift of gab is gonna be the ace in your pocket since you will have to persuade these business owners to trust you and invest in you to run their advertisements.
Is Profit League click bait?
There are many Jeff Samis reviews out there but here is what I think of the profit league.
I think Jessica and Jeff Samis are pretty amazing copywriters, they are able to bring immense value to the world by letting people have an inside look into a very specific niche of online marketing.
Creating an income from the internet and having a laptop life without having to work a typical day job is enticing! They are helping show a whole host of people a new way to live.
Nothing can take away the gift that is freedom and the ability to expand your monthly income to reach all your dreams.
If you check out profit league reviews you may come across some negative feelings (you may have to spend some time finding them) as most of the reviews are positive but some feel the $4000 price tag is a bit steep for the duration of the course.
Is it worth it? I can’t really tell you that, what I do know is I would rather have a business that makes me $4000/mo while I sleep instead of spending it and working to manage those campaigns.
That being said your mentors Jeff & Jessica, and the course they have produced is legit in its content.
Here is my issue with Facebook Ads
- How your ad performs varies daily
- Advertisements eventually lose their “juice” and are no longer putting out a profit. There is actually a lot of consistent upkeep in making sure you aren’t always losing money.
- There can be struggles to find a client that trusts you immediately
- The lead quality you receive can be unsatisfactory since this is a form of interruption marketing
- Contrary to belief your profit can be way less than expected because your ad cost will stack up quickly (lower profit margins = less money in your pocket)
At this stage in my life I no longer want to put in multiple hours a day every day. I want my income to be as passive as possible so I can spend time doing things that I love, with people that I love.
What does that mean for me? That means collecting traffic for free by ranking sites like this one.
This is an example of just one of my simple little sites that has been producing a steady income. This one in particular pays me a thousand bucks every single month. The best part is I have barely even looked at this site since I made it a couple years back!
It is a daily task to check the status of your Facebook ad to make sure they are continuously converting leads and actually bringing in a profit for your client as well as yourself instead of flushing that money down the toilet.
The frustrating part is after all the time spent perfecting your ad, sometimes its performance will still fluctuate throughout the day.
After checking the click through rate (CTR: the percentage of individuals viewing a webpage who click on a specific advertisement that appears on a page) you realize yours has run out of steam so now you are in the position of having to create new ads, change your targeting, maybe you’ll have to pause your ad, or a multitude of other outcomes.
Let’s not get it twisted though, I have had some amazing months using Facebook Ads, the tricky part is how reliable your profit intake is from those ads.
Plus when you niche down you eventually will wear out your whole audience base.
Now, that is really where the challenge is because then you have to ask yourself is it worth continuing the whole process again, researching a new niche, designing and testing a whole new campaign?
With my experience of using Facebook Ads, I feel coaching programs specifically do fairly well with them because the audience that is looking for online business opportunities is massive; therefore their profits can be massive.
This is why there are so many coaches promoting their courses on Facebook.
If my ultimate goal is making an income by serving clients, I would much rather build a lead generation site and use free traffic instead of paid traffic.
It is just so much easier that way. If my ultimate goal is to make money by servicing clients, then I would much prefer to stick to free traffic lead generation instead of paid. Not only is it less work, but it’s way more profitable and PASSIVE.
Maybe you didn’t realize this either but the most you can expect to receive for your Facebook Ad is a 10 – 20% management fee.
This is because the client is already paying for each click. So there isn’t much coming in from any one client, you would need to create multiple campaigns for multiple clients to have any real money to put in your bank account.

I made $1,000 last month on that site that I showed you above. My expenses? $30 per month to keep the money flowing. That’s is. That’s the power of free traffic and something you don’t experience with paid traffic.
That’s a 97% profit margin, that’s something you don’t see in nearly any business model. Online or traditional.
That’s one of the things I love most about this business (other than the passive nature of it). I get to KEEP most of the money that I work for.
Other than the money that goes to taxes… Uncle Sam strikes again.
And that money continues to stack. Once that site makes me money I can essentially forget about it and go on to building the next which means I keep stacking cash and scaling the biz!
If I wanna take a week or two off, no biggie. My business will continue to work for me and make me money instead of me working on it.
