But is it even a legitimate business? Or do they just encourage people to make them fall in their recruitment scheme?

Chances are you heard about Saivian because someone – a friend or family member – introduced you to the company. Maybe you attended an online workshop or webinar, or maybe an in-person information session.
Your head’s probably spinning. This might be the first time you’ve heard about a real way to make money outside of a typical job.
So first off, congratulations!
You’ve just entered a whole new world…the world of making money on your own terms.
However, you came in through the wrong door.
Because Saivian is – plain and simple – an MLM. Throw whatever fancy name you want on it…multi-level marketing (MLM), network marketing (NWM), direct sales, or anything else, it’s the same concept:
You pay some money upfront for the “opportunity” to sell products.
The products are typically low-quality but with high price tags (because fancy labels and stuff).
You’re told that the key to building your own successful business is selling these products to friends and family, and getting them on a subscription (so you get “monthly recurring revenue”).
Unfortunately, like most people who get taken in by these types of schemes, you’ll quickly discover that the well runs dry faster than you imagined.
After all, they make it sound really simple. “Just get 5 people you know onto this magic widget, and things will just grow from there.”
And in your head, you think “How hard can it be? I know plenty of people, 5 will be easy.”
But then you do it, and you realize people look at you like you’ve joined a cult. You’ve become “that person”, who joined an MLM, and is now trying to sell questionable products or services to everyone they meet.

Saivian Review: What Is Saivian?
Saivian is a multi-level marketing organization that provides a cashback incentive, paying members 20% back on all purchases made at commercial merchants such as Starbucks, Target, and Walmart.
Furthermore, like an MLM, it offers an affiliate network via its referral program, making it seem to be a recruiting scheme.
The domain “saivian.net” seems to have been registered on October 30, 2015, and is based in Arizona, USA. On the other side, the domain registration is set to private.
Steve Gewecke, John Sheehan, Kevin Marino, and Eric Dalius are the founders of Saivian.
Here’s some information about the company’s founders and marketing partners:
- John Sheehan: Interim president of another company with decades of management experience
- Steve Gewecke: Founder of US Utility Direct in 2012 and in 2014, rejoined MyNyloxin as president
- Eric J Dalius: Defendants Professional Realty Enterprises, Saving Network App Limited, Saivian International Limited, and Saivian INT Limited’s founder, sole director, and sole shareholder
- Kevin Marino: Network Marketer and founder of Asirvia, also an MLM company
As I’ve explained earlier, the organization seems to have stopped operations, as shown by the following message on its website domain:
Prior to October 2017, before publicly disclosing it, Saivian had already discontinued their business transactions in the United States in August 2017, after being labeled as a Ponzi scheme.
They may have offered refunds to its members, but it is unclear to this day if they received any refunds or commissions after the company ceased operations, as we can only rely on this assertion from their official website.
Maybe they have moved to SaiviWORLD.SG, a new site, where unpaid commissions and refunds are processed.
I did a quick google search and found out that the very same cash-back scheme is still being offered at SaiviWorld’s Facebook Page.
However, the website is still out of date, since it was last updated in 2018. Even so, this SaiviWorld seems to be still running from a mobile app.
The Saivian Product Line
You may earn cashback on your purchases and vacations when you join Saivian.
However, since Saivian does not deliver actual products, there is no stock inventory to be concerned about.
Rather, your efforts will be focused on attracting new members since the affiliate membership program is what you will be marketing and selling here.
Do Their Products Work?
Unfortunately for Saivian, the brand does not sell actual things.
After registration, the user is sent to Saivian’s affiliate program, which is a third-party e-commerce platform.
The platform has no actual link to the MLM incentive that Saivian is pushing, which is concerning.
Saivian Membership Fees
The membership is not inexpensive since these fees are how the corporation earns revenues when no actual items are involved.
The Saivian membership cost is $125 per year, payable every 28 days. Making the annual fee 13 x $125 = $1625, in my opinion, is a hefty sum to pay for a discount card membership.
Saivian aims to pay you up to $250 in cash back for each 28-day period. You’d have to spend 5 times the amount to earn the maximum payback of $250 with the 20% max cash back.
That works out to $1,250 if you solely use your Saivian card.
Then it starts to get interesting: you won’t receive your $250 cash back in the first or second month, but in the third!
What’s the hold-up for?
First off, you must invest the $1250 in order to receive the 20%, equivalent to $250 cash back) ,for the month. The company’s employees will then process the cash back within the next 30 days, giving you a period of 3 months after the cashback transaction is authorized.
They’re getting your $125 monthly subscription fee the whole time. $375 in value plus the original $125 charge is $500 – expended with a net cash return of $250.
This does not yet include the $1,250 in sales needed to qualify for the $250 cash back!
It’s not rocket science to not be able to figure out that something is wrong about those figures!
But at this point, I’m sure you realize there are much better programs out there that can help you make A LOT more money.
Obviously, this isn’t a reliable means of earning money because spending does not equate to making money, does it?
How To Make Money With Saivian?
You can earn from Saivian in two ways:
- Cash back for your shopping and travel-related transactions.
- Recruiting new members into their scheme in order to receive a regular commission payout.
There’s a lot that comes along with this type of Network Marketing business model that many people struggle with.

Now, don’t get me wrong…
You can certainly make money with Network Marketing, but if you’re gonna put in the amount of grueling work into this business (which, trust me, isn’t easy), you might as well bring in some REAL money while you’re learning the ropes.
How To Get Started With Saivian?
Saivian offers a very hefty $125 monthly subscription fee.
Since this is on a monthly basis, it is automatically paid on your credit card every 28 days, resulting in you paying 13 times every year.
It might seem at the outset that spending $125 for 28 days isn’t so bad because they’ll give a cash back benefit of up to $250 every 28 days.
But even so, you will not receive the $250 straight away. There is a 90-day waiting period (or more like a delay!) before you get it. And in the process, you inevitably spend about $1,250 to get hold of that cash back.
Saivian Compensation Plan
Saivian’s incentive scheme now operates using a unilevel compensation structure, with affiliates divided into separate teams.
So, each team begins with just one affiliate at the very top, and this affiliate then brings in new recruits to join Saivian.
When this happens, these new recruits start at level 1. When level 1 members start recruiting, the new people they bring take the level 2 spot. Then it progresses from there.
These levels or thresholds are effectively limitless, and the commission earned by an affiliate is determined by the number of affiliates added in their downline.
You get a commission payout after you have recruited at least three people under you and work your way up from there.
You’ll know at this point that your profit is determined by the number of your own recruits and your affiliates’.
Essentially, Saivian doesn’t anymore run a traditional cash back scheme, but rather an MLM in which you make the majority of your income via recruitment.
When portrayed in this manner, it does function similarly to a pyramid scheme where the primary emphasis is on recruiting rather than the selling of products.
PROS
It’s great that you can get cashback while eating, shopping, traveling, and so on. It’s also a plus that you could potentially make money from the MLM platform.
Yes, the idea of having ROIs by merely recruiting people is enticing, but will it be any fun if it turns out to be all about marketing the program itself?
Worse, it would simply defraud you and take all of your capital money. So, to be blunt, there isn’t anything to like about this program – at all.
CONS
Long Time To Redeem Cashback
Yes as I’ve mentioned quite a number of times, getting the cashback in Saivian takes a long time.
This would take 30 days for the Saivian employees to obtain the shopping receipts, another 30 days to approve, and again, another 30 days for you to receive the money. Imagine the back office processing will be a total of 90 long days!
Why does it take this long, especially that we are living in a digital and modern age? It’s certainly a shady move.
Worst of all, you won’t receive any cashback at all. I’ve read a number of complaints about members not getting their cashback. And it’s definitely one of the explanations why they’re being labeled a scam, which has resulted in lawsuits and, finally, the total closure of the company.
Leaders Forsaking
Saivian was founded by John Sheehan, Kevin Marino, and Steve Gewecke, but they did not stay long. To put it succinctly, they fled! They abandoned Saivian.
Eric J Dalius, or E.J. Dalius, was one of the company’s silent associates and one of its founders, and he succeeded John Sheehan as President. And after the company ceased activities, it was still facing lawsuits.
Referral System- Actually Not Earning!
Besides the very flawed cashback scheme, which required 90 days to process the shopping purchases, the affiliate commissions are also disappointing. It would be difficult to fulfill the basic requirement to be able to make a decent income out of Saivian.
It seems that you are spending more money than what you are actually making. Just think about the $125 monthly fee that you would need to sustain.
We can’t also find their income disclosure statement anywhere in the internet. They probably chose to hide it because no one is really making any substantial income.
I’m guessing that no affiliate made any money here.
Is Saivian A Scam?
So, is Saivian a scam?
Not technically. You can make money with this program, but it’s definitely not as easy as the company makes it sound.
There’s a ton of work to be done upfront, no real guarantee of success, and – most importantly – the actual commissions are pretty small.
Now, there’s nothing wrong with front-loading the work and making the money later.
But if you’re grinding it out for 3 months and then your reward is a $50 commission, it’s not really worth it.
What if, instead, you could do that same 3 months of work (in your spare time), and your reward was a $500 to $2,000 payment that came in every single month?
