Pampered Chef MLM Review: Scam or Legit?

By: Brittney

Welcome to my Pampered Chef Review Review. My goal is to help you understand what the program is all about, how much it costs, if it's a good use of your time, your money, and much more! It should be less than 10 minutes start to finish, so let's dive in!

Disclaimer:

This Pampered Chef Review review has been thoroughly researched with information and testimonials that are available to anyone in the public. Any conclusions drawn by myself are opinions.

Firstly, Why Am I Writing The Review?

Nice to meet you, my name is Brittney!

My story starts like many do… “slaving away” at a 9-5 job that I didn’t really enjoy, but hey – it paid the bills.

I worked for a large Fortune 500 company that performed background checks for other companies when they wanted to hire a new employee… so you know, not exactly exciting stuff.

For a lot of people, a nice stable job and predictable check coming in every month is the picture of success, but for me, it felt like I was missing out on life.

Clocking in every single day, doing the same tasks over and over again, getting home with barely enough time to make dinner and enjoy some time to myself… only to wake up again the next morning and do it all over again.

I just wanted to enjoy life without being shackled to an unfilling job.

I wanted to be able to take vacations whenever I wanted, for however long I wanted.

I didn’t want to have to beg my boss for a salary increase that barely matched inflation.

I just wanted to be free and happy.

Then about 4 years ago (as a stroke of luck), I stumbled across a program that taught me how to make money online by actually helping real people (local US businesses).

Who Cares About That?

99% of reviewers out there don’t have experience running an actual business. They’re writing about stuff that they have no real experience with.

Why would they do that?

They just want you to click through and buy the program that the review is about!

I have absolutely no relationship with J Rich, so you can rest easy knowing that I’m going to give you my honest opinion.

This review is written based on my own experiences with this business model.

All that being said, let’s jump into things.

Is Pampered Chef An MLM Company?

It’s another among those making online money programs focused on selling a membership that allegedly makes you money by selling kitchenware, spices and recipe books.

It’s meant to show you how to become a “6 figure network marketer,” yet most members don’t make that much money selling the products.

That’s just the truth…you won’t get rich off a 25-50% commission.

If you want to really get rich online, (at an average of $1,500 per sale PER MONTH), check out our #1 recommendation here.

Now, before we go any further…

Pampered Chef does include some useful information on earning money online and earning some sizable commission checks…

However, it really needs to be updated.

In the end, I’ll answer some of the most frequently asked questions regarding Pampered Chef and cheap affiliate marketing in general.

And most importantly, I’ll show you the exact system I used to build my own internet marketing business to over $40,000 a month in mostly passive income.

This system made me swear off network marketing for good because it uses some of the same skills but in a much more powerful and profitable way!

But more on that later.

For now, let’s hop into all things about  Pampered Chef!

What Is Pampered Chef?

Pampered Chef Compensation Plan Career Plan

Doris Christopher started Pampered Chef, an MLM (multi-level marketing) company. It began storming the markets in the 1990s and has maintained a steady growth rate to the present day.

It’s also not surprising that it’s financially successful…

Doris Christopher is an economist with a background in finance.

The Pampered Chef sells kitchen equipment directly to friends and family through its network marketing events dubbed “pampered chef parties” or “pc parties” in text language.

Some of these things are attractive, while others are average, and some may be found on the sale rack at Wal-Mart.

How Does Pampered Chef Work?

How Does Pampered Chef Work

Pampered Chef earns a significant portion of its revenue from consultants who sell their kitchen products directly to their friends and family. Additionally, it earns an occasional dollar from guest appearances on television shows.

During a Pampered Chef party or television appearance, their goal is to demonstrate the items’ utility in everyday life. Certain items have the potential to alter one’s life… Other goods, no.

It’s fascinating to observe how a product works when a team of individuals is cooking and showing the product’s functioning on television.

At these events, you will almost certainly receive a Pampered Chef catalog in which you can purchase some of these things.

Another alternative for Pampered Chef consultants to earn money is establishing an affiliate-style website and earning commissions on sales. Individuals have also found success using Amazon.

Finally…and this is where multi-level marketing enters the picture…

Consultants can hire new consultants to work for them, thereby increasing their earnings based on the sales they generate.

That aspect isn’t enjoyable, and it’s one of the reasons the multi-level marketing industry has such a terrible reputation.

Pampered Chef Products

Pampered Chef Products

One thing to mention positively about the Pampered Chef multilevel marketing company is that they provide a diverse product line!

We’re discussing kitchenware, equipment, food goods, and Pampered Chef cookbooks, among other things!

Pampered Chef focuses on a variety of product categories, one of which is multi-purpose utensils. They cater to an individual’s demand for all-in-one cooking equipment.

They have full support for each of their products and provide a full one-year warranty on each one!

Pampered Chef’s most popular products include the following:

  • Teak Wooden Spoon
  • Stoneware Bakeware
  • Cut-N-Seal Maker Tart
  • Mini Tart Shaper
  • Pizza and Crust Cutter
  • beer bread mix
  • gardening tools
  • kitchen tools
  • food products

While the menu Pampered Chef provides for their goods is comprehensive…it is encyclopedic. Additionally, some of the pricing for these culinary products are, in our opinion, absurd.

However, each catalog/menu that Pampered Chef publishes for their products has all the information necessary to make an informed purchase.

How To Join Pampered Chef

How To Join Pampered Chef

If you want to join Pampered Chef and become a team member, you’re in luck since they make it simple! Visit their website, enter your information, and wait for a sponsor or the person who told you about it to contact you.

You must fill out the consultant agreement form and purchase a Pampered Chef consultant kit to complete your membership as a Pampered Chef consultant.

How Much Does Pampered Chef Membership Cost?

The following are some of the several Pampered Chef consultant kits:

The Starter Kit: This set is $99 and includes over $400 worth of items. The beginning package is ideal for people interested in personally testing the product line.

Deluxe Kit: This kit costs $159 and includes materials worth $700. The deluxe package is ideal for people looking to earn money more quickly than those who purchase the starting kit, as it allows you to offer more things.

Ultimate Kit: It costs $259 and includes goods worth $1,000. This kit is ideal for those that consistently give a business opportunity their all.

These kits are business tools that should assist you in increasing your revenue by providing access to merchandise.

Is Pampered Chef Overpriced?

Is Pampered Chef Overpriced

To our mind, it’s tough to comprehend how a collection of things purchased for $259 can be resold for more than $1000.

For that reason alone, it isn’t easy to see how a non-salesperson could earn money with Pampered Chef consistently without receiving some high-level sales training.

While we believe the products themselves are costly, we believe the cost of joining the Berkshire Hathaway business affiliate team is acceptable.

After all, you cannot expect to receive free things to sell.

Can You Make Money with Pampered Chef?

You can earn money in a variety of ways by selling Pampered Chef products. Commissions start at 20% and can go up to 27%, depending on sales volume.

Earn an additional 3% on products sold by your team. Additionally, you’ll earn benefits such as free products throughout the year, additional training, and points toward vacation rewards.

The following are various ways to earn money:

  • Recruitment
  • Personal Website
  • Parties

Thus, there are number of ways to earn money with the Pampered Chef. It truly is a matter of time and motivation.

How Much Does A Pampered Chef Consultant Make?

How Much Does A Pampered Chef Consultant Make

Pampered Chef compensates its consultants based on their sales volume. Please consider the following comprehensive breakdown of their compensation plan:

  • 20% commission rate for $1 – $749 sales/month.
  • 22% commission rate for $750 – $1249 sales/month.
  • 23% commission rate for $1250 – $2449 sales/month.
  • 24% commission rate for $2500 – $3999 sales/month.
  • 25% commission rate for above $4000 sales/month.

Compared to other network marketing MLM companies, Pampered Chef offers a rather excellent compensation plan that can compete with any other network marketing MLM company.

However, it is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO MAKE MONEY.

Nobody wants to purchase that pricey, low-quality garbage any longer.

Newsflash: It is no longer 2005! Amazon exists, and stores offer superior things at a lower price.

If money is what you’re really after, you owe it to yourself to check out our #1 Recommendation!

Is The Pampered Chef MLM A Pyramid Scheme

Is The Pampered Chef MLM A Pyramid Scheme

Pampered Chef is not, by definition, a pyramid scheme. There are real products that friends and family can purchase and sell.

If you regard the Pampered Chef company as a legitimate business opportunity, you can earn money legally without fear of becoming involved in a pyramid scheme.

Companies classified as MLMs must now adhere to strict requirements that demonstrate their business s not a pyramid scheme.

A company discovered to be a pyramid scheme frequently faces severe legal consequences that no one wants to cope with.

While your friend may believe the Pampered Chef MLM is a pyramid scam, your friend is wrong. Since everyone at every level of the company has the opportunity to earn money, in a genuine pyramid scheme, only the top makes money while the rest lose it.

Pyramid scams are awful, and if we could claim that Pampered Chef is a pyramid scheme, we would do it without hesitation here.

Why Pampered Chef Looks Like A Scam

scam or legit ggmoney

When most people join the Pampered Chef company, it is primarily to obtain cookware and a variety of other products at a lesser price than a regular customer.

When this occurs and you discuss it with another “Pampered Chef Distributor,” you’ll likely discover that neither of you made a lot of money. Typically, this is because both of you lack sales abilities.

While the Pampered Chef incentive plan may appear appealing, you will gain the most value from it if you have a strong sales process.

As with any other multilevel marketing or network marketing organization, the majority of people will be left with only family and friends to sell to. At the very least, you might generate enough revenue to break even.

While the business strategy and organization may appear to be a fraud, it is simply a case of individuals not knowing the business model and how to make it popular.

There are some high earners among consultants. They will tell you from their experience that it is not a scam. Anyone can earn money with the organization if they have an effective sales process and effective interpersonal communication skills.

Lastly, the commission rate is comparable to that of other network marketing programs, which contributes to the company’s respectability.

At this point, you’ve probably realized that the amount of work required in comparison to the monetary gain will never be worthwhile.

Why People Aren’t Fans Of Pampered Chef

As with any other multilevel marketing organization or network marketing company, the training you will receive will essentially be a sales spiel that you will use to approach friends and family members.

Nobody likes business concepts that demand you to force a product down the throats of your family, community, and elderly neighbor.

Indeed, if you read Pampered Chef MLM reviews online from actual consultants, you’ll discover that many are unable to earn a full-time income and are dissatisfied.

If a business consultant who purchases a consultant kit, probably the company’s first actual customer, is unhappy, what do you think the majority of people would think of the company?

But not always. Parties can become pretty costly if no one purchases.

You can have the coolest culinary equipment, but you cannot simply give away kitchen tools to anybody who drops by your party.

Unfortunately, despite their A+ rating, Pampered Chef has a high number of complaints with the Better Business Bureau.

Another reason people dislike this type of business model and organization is how frequently these things appear on Amazon for far less! Why would someone go to Pampered Chef party when they can just click a social media advertisement that directs them to Amazon and offers the pizza stone at the consultant rate?

Anyone would have to be insane to spend more money at a party on items they can acquire on Amazon for a fraction of the price.

This concludes our Pampered Chef MLM review…

Our #1 Online Business Recommendation 2024!

Digital Leasing

Our review team has come across a program in the real estate industry that is next level!

Although it’s not real estate in the traditional sense, it’s all digital.

Yup, Digital Leasing!

Where Multi Level Marketing falls short is in scalability.

There’s only so much time in a day and there’s only so many people you can reach to sell by yourself.

MLM companies know this! Which is why they push so hard for you to recruit for your downline…you can’t get rich with it as a one man/woman show.

But what if you could make even more money off of little local websites without having to spend hundreds of dollars on overpriced products and a bunch of time recruiting people to sell under you?

With this Digital Leasing program, you can make recurring monthly income without constant sales to your friends and constant recruitment!

Sound too good to be true? Of course it does! But it isn’t…in fact, business owners wish they had this skill!

All you have to do is build and rank a LOCAL website and forward the jobs off to a business owner in town, you could even email it to them!

This works for literally any service based business, tree service, plumbing, towing, etc.

How do you get paid and how much?

Simple, after you forward the jobs off to a business owner and he makes some money off of them, you simply ask to make the deal beneficial for each other.

A fair price to charge per lead, depending on the industry is 10-20%…let’s just use the tree service industry for example and go by worst case scenario.

Let’s say you build and rank the site and only 10 jobs a month come in. The average tree service job is anywhere from $500-$2000!

That means at bare minimum you have an asset worth $500 a month!

See why they call it Digital Leasing now? That’s a rent payment.

The great thing is how easy it is to scale. You don’t have to worry about:

  • Your upline getting paid before you
  • Begging your friends and family to buy from you
  • Recruiting people all the time

But as it is with Pampered Chef… You only get what’s left of the pie if you meet a monthly quota…

The course we recommend actually allows you to collect HUGE FLAT RATE DEALS.

Truly passive income!

The training program takes making money online to a whole other level. The owner of the program walks you through how to build and rank a site hand in hand, with the occasional voice over when he is sharing his screen.

You will learn the importance of keywords, website name, how to send call notifications via email, backlinking, etc.

Once the training program is completed you will also have access to a Facebook group much better than the Pampered Chef group in our opinion. This group is much more active.

Unlike MLMs, where you’re getting maybe $10 per sale, you could be getting 10-20X THAT.

A business will always want more leads and another job. In fact it doesn’t even matter that the job isn’t coming from their website name…they see it as it is…expanding Digital Leasing.

Unlike Pampered Chef, more people have been able to walk away from their 9-5 job as well.

Digital Leasing allows you to have total passive income with most of your day being spent WITH your friends, NOT selling to them.

Now, I know you probably have tons of questions…

So, check this out to learn more.
