JR Rivas Review (2023 Update): 12 Things You Need To Know!

By: Brittney

Welcome to my JR Rivas review. My goal is to help you understand what the program is all about, how much it costs, if it’s a good use of your time, your money, and much more! It should be less than 10 minutes start to finish, so let’s dive in!
This JR Rivas review has been thoroughly researched with information and testimonials that are available online to anyone in the public. Any conclusions drawn by myself are opinions.

The Good Stuff

A one-on-one with JR is a treat.
You can request a complete refund if you are unsuccessful within six months.

The Bad Stuff

The course will only assist you in hiring virtual assistants to do prospecting for you.
The cost of running Facebook ads can be pretty high.
This is not a sustainable online business model.

Firstly, Why Am I Writing This Review?

Nice to meet you, my name is Brittney!

My story starts  like many do… “slaving away” at a 9-5 job that I didn’t really enjoy, but hey – it paid the bills.

I worked for a large Fortune 500 company that performed background checks for other companies when they wanted to hire a new employee… so you know, not exactly exciting stuff.

For a lot of people, a nice stable job and predictable check coming in every month is the picture of success, but for me, it felt like I was missing out on life.

Clocking in every single day, doing the same tasks over and over again, getting home with barely enough time to make dinner and enjoy some time to myself… only to wake up again the next morning and do it all over again.

I just wanted to enjoy life without being shackled to an unfilling job.

I wanted to be able to take vacations whenever I wanted, for however long I wanted.

I didn’t want to have to beg my boss for a salary increase that barely matched inflation.

I just wanted to be free and happy.

Then about 4 years ago (as a stroke of luck), I stumbled across a program that taught me how to make money online by actually helping real people (local US businesses).

my concrete site

The image above shows an example. This mini website brings me in around $1,250 every single month, and I haven’t touched it in over 2 years.

That’s $15,000 per year in my pocket without having to really do anything.

Just helping small mom-and-pop shops keep their lights on and grow.

So it makes sense why local lead generation is my top online business for passive income. If you’re curious how that business model works, you can read more here.

Who Cares About That?

99% of reviewers out there don’t have experience running an actual business. They’re writing about stuff that they have no real experience with.

Why would they do that?

They just want you to click through and buy the  program that the review is about!

I have absolutely no relationship with JR Rivas, so you can rest easy knowing that I’m going to give you my honest opinion.

This review is written based on my own experiences with this business model.

All that being said, let’s jump into things.

JR Rivas Review (Update) 12 Things You Need To Know!

Have you ever seen JR Rivas’ Facebook ads? If this is the case, you may be wondering where he is from or whether his course is legitimate.

On the ad, you’ll be taken to a sales page with a short video that explains how to convert 10-15 prospects into customers for your marketing agency on a $20 daily budget.

He’s also showing you how to automate the process.

Isn’t that too good to be true? Before you schedule a call with JR Rivas, let’s go over his background and the details of his course.

JR Rivas is an ad agency course. The basic premise is that you’ll learn how to build your own ad agency, land clients, and get them results.

Running an agency (even though they’re a bit of a commodity nowadays) isn’t a bad way to get your feet wet in the world of online business.

That said, there are a lot of moving parts with this business model:

  • Prospecting – you need to know how to find potential clients
  • Sales – you need to know how to convince those clients to give you money
  • Media Buying – you need to know how to run ads profitably
  • Copywriting – you need to know how to tailor your ad messaging for the right customers
  • Design – you need to know how to design ads/landing pages to maximize conversions
  • Email Marketing – you need to know how to follow up with prospects and customers
  • Automation – you need to know how to connect everything properly

Now, most course-sellers will try to make this easier on you by telling you they’ve managed to “automate everything”, offering “plug-and-play” campaigns, and “pre-built templates”.

Here’s the thing though:

Markets are always changing. They get more savvy as time goes on.

If you buy a program with thousands of other students, where everything is built out for you, there’s an almost 100% chance those templates don’t work.

Because if thousands of other students are using those exact same “plug and play” campaigns, tens of millions of people have already seen them, reducing their effectiveness.

Not to mention, with most agency programs, the templates are actually built by some virtual assistant in the Philippines or India, and have never actually been tested in real life.

And if they have, there’s a good chance they’re extremely outdated, since most programs don’t bother updating their templates after launching. The course creator gets too busy just trying to sell to more and more students, instead of focusing on quality education.

Now, here’s the most sinister part of this whole thing:

Most course creators market their agency courses as something you can do anywhere in the world. You might hear them say things like “The world is my office” or “This is a simple passive income business”.

That’s just plain false. Running an effective agency is in no way passive. Look at the list above, and remember that you can’t rely on pre-built templates. You’re responsible for every part of the process.

Does that really sound like a business you can do from a laptop on the beach?

See how this could be a problem?

Now, what if there was a way you could build a passive income stream that’s actually passive?

An income stream that doesn’t require:

  • Mastering 100 different roles
  • Needing to be a technology wizard
  • Working round the clock just to keep things from blowing up

An income stream that brings in consistent revenues every single month (from a couple thousand dollars to well over $10,000)?

An income stream you could actually build in your spare time, and grow as large or as small as you want to, without having to spend hours a day chasing, selling, or managing anything?

If that sounds like something you’d be interested in, check out Digital Real Estate.

However, if you’d still like to know more about Jr Rivas, keep reading.

Who Is JR Rivas?

JR Rivas grew up in a single-parent household, where he and his mother had to relocate frequently because they couldn’t afford the necessities of life.

JR started his tax business at 18 because he knew college was not the way to financial freedom.

After some failures with his tax business, he decided to restart with online marketing and created three six-figure businesses, coaching over 500 students in 47 countries.

He has made countless training programs, including Facebook Ads For Real Estate and Personal Brand Profits.

He became busier as the businesses prospered.

That’s when he took his friend’s advice and found a competent VA for only $3 an hour.

This leads to the course 47 Day Agency Formula.

What To Expect In The Course?

In the course, JR will walk you through a step-by-step process that he claims will help you to scale your business with the help of virtual assistants.

The following are the steps you will learn in the course:

  • Where can I find the best virtual assistants?
  • Why can you pay a virtual assistant $3 per hour?
  • How to Set Up a VA Boot Camp
  • The Advantages of Niching Down

We’ll go over the course in greater detail below, including what the sales page doesn’t tell you.

What’s Inside JR’s 47 Day Agency Formula

Step 1: Looking For A Top 1% Virtual Assistant?

How do you find the most efficient VAs who can help you achieve your business goals?

According to JR, the key is to have an airtight assessment process.

He sends his VAs through a five-step process in which they are screened for the following:

  • English Language Proficiency
  • Internet Access
  • Competency
  • Background Investigation
  • Reliability

All of the above points are important.

Only the most experienced, articulate, and trustworthy candidates are hired. This becomes clear as you establish a good line of communication between yourself and a dependable virtual assistant.

The real point of hiring a virtual assistant is to ensure that your business runs smoothly and without delay. Consider this if your virtual assistant’s internet connection was poor.

Nothing will be accomplished.

What if they are unfamiliar with your company’s work? That would be a significant issue. It will defeat the purpose of getting a VA.

After you’ve chosen your ideal candidate, it’ll bring you to them to sign off on the selection and begin the second stage of the process.

You will also have your account manager assist your virtual assistant daily if they have any questions about their work, so you are in good hands with JR’s staff.

Step 2: Agency Appointment Setting Boot Camp

It’s all about teaching your virtual assistant to perform customer acquisition and revenue-generating tasks.

At this point, the VA collaborates with JR’s staff to determine prospect acquisition methods.

Every possible strategy.

The Following Are Some Techniques And Platforms You Can Use To Reach Out To Business Owners:

  • Facebook
  • LinkedIn
  • Instagram
  • WhatsApp
  • SMS Marketing
  • E-mail Outreach
  • Cold Calls
  • Loom Videos
  • Follow-Ups

Your Virtual Assistants Will Follow A Proven Script.

Prospecting for you is made easier for the VAs, thanks to a pre-written script they can follow. JR and his team have used this script to generate new business leads for years.

A typical week for a virtual assistant will see them putting in anywhere from 20 to 40 hours of work. The crazy part of their employment is that they are paid as little as $3.00 an hour.

Just under half the minimum wage here in the US.

JR estimates that the average Filipino earns a little over $7,000.00 a year.

He claimed that many Filipinos are employed by Royal Caribbean and Carnival cruise lines and earn $1.80/hr for 70 hrs a week, excluding overtime pay, on these ships.

That’s why you’ll pay them $3.00 an hour, nearly double what they’ll get from the cruise lines, and they’ll get to work from home.

For these virtual assistants, it’s a no-brainer to work for you and do a great job. It’s a good deal for them, and they enjoy the work.

Because English is taught in schools in the Philippines, Filipino VAs have an excellent grasp of the language. You will not have any trouble communicating with them after the screening process. JR has had great success with this system, which is why he has decided to share it with the world today.

Step 3: Niching Down To Acquire A Simple System For Automating Fulfillment

Everyone must have the goal of niching down. Why?

Let’s pause for a moment to consider this.

Assume you’re running Facebook ads like JR or his coach Dan Henry…

You gain new clients from dentists, beauty salons, chiropractors, realtors, and landscapers. You’ll have to figure out the most effective way to run ads for each specialized niche, right?

Most of the time, you’ll have a good chance of landing a winning ad or campaign on the first couple of tries.

The Role Of Niching Down In Digital Marketing Agency

Every niche is unique due to the changing offers and audience. Moving into every new niche will make your role much more difficult.

You’ll waste time and money testing ads. You could end up spending hundreds of dollars on the weekend with no results.

Honestly, do you want that? I wouldn’t.

But eventually, you’ll make it work.

Now consider this. You find a niche. Maybe you want to target gyms.

You test a bunch of gym offers and ads to see what works.

A winning ad takes time.

After that one works, you find another gym to advertise with your winning formula… and another.

Using the Rinse and Repeat Strategy Effectively

Rinse and repeat.

Do you see what I mean?

There’s no need to look for a formula any longer. It all boils down to making your life easier and taking the path of least resistance.

Working smarter, not harder, allows you to scale more quickly. Niching down will also help your VAs be a lot more effective.

Furthermore, if you only provide one type of service, you will appear to be the authority in your niche and field. If you run Facebook promotions for gyms, you’ll be the go-to person. Pitching to other gyms will be a piece of cake.

Now tell me…

What will a gym owner who is trying to expand his business say if you come to see them and show them the incredible ROI you are bringing to other businesses? “Please take my money!” I’m sure they’ll say quickly. Believe me, I’m aware.

Niching down will make scaling your company much easier, allowing this entire prospecting process to run on autopilot.

Isn’t that what we’re aiming for?

Working With JR Rivas

After purchasing the course program, you will receive an onboarding phone call from JR Rivas, who will discuss the niche, offer strategy, and everything else you need to scale your business.

Aside from these, you will have two weekly coaching calls with JR Rivas to discuss any changes or new ideas.

A Group chat within the private Facebook group and a section with video lessons covering the topics of niche selection, ad spend, client acquisition, retention, fulfillment, sales, outsourcing, and automation—are essential items to run a digital marketing business effectively.

JR guarantees that you can get a full refund if you don’t see a return on your initial investment within six months while keeping the training resources free of charge.

To be eligible for a refund, you must test his model for six months. Isn’t that a good deal?

Everything appears to be very simple in the product sales pitch content. JR Rivas, for example, guarantees that you can create your advertisement in twenty minutes and set up appointments with prospects who are ready to buy.

Can You Set Up A Facebook Ad In 20 Minutes?

Yes, you can create a Facebook ad campaign in 20 minutes, but he doesn’t tell you that the ad price is costly, and it can cost up to $35 to acquire only one lead, with a conversion rate of 10% at best. That works out to $350 for a deal.

However, if the virtual assistant is ineffective at closing, the conversion rate will be significantly lower…leading to less money in the door.

JR stated that he would provide your VAs with a product sales script to get prospects to say “yes,” which seems far too good to be true given that everyone knows that high ticket closing is a top income skill.

At $3 per hour, you won’t be able to hire a good closer.

Below Are The Issues With JR’s Business Model, Which He Does Not Inform You:

Virtual assistants in the Philippines can be hard to find. If the VA performs well, he will have earned more than $3 an hour rather than relying on $3 an hour wages.

The price of running Facebook ads has risen quite a bit in recent years. In other words, you’ll spend more on ads that might not work.

Facebook advertising has a steep learning curve. How do you expect a $3 VA to be proficient in these techniques in a week? Automating the process is not an option; you must keep an eye on the ads, prices, conversions, and split testing yourself or risk losing a lot of money. When your virtual assistants inadvertently break several Facebook rules, your ad account may be suspended.

Paying your VAs based on completion dates does not make sense. They have no incentive to prospect for you because you don’t pay them.

Things will go awry when you try to delegate all of your work to virtual assistants.

I’d instead start with a simpler business model that can generate passive income without VAs rather than train a large number of VAs who will only leave you for better-paid jobs once they become more skilled.

Is Jr Rivas A Scam?

So, is Jr Rivas a scam? Not technically. You can make money with this program, but it’s definitely not as easy as 47 Days Agency Formula makes it sound.

There’s a ton of work to be done upfront, no real guarantee of success, and – most importantly – running an agency is extremely active income (NOT passive).

Now, there’s nothing wrong with front-loading the work and making the money later.

But if you’re getting into this game to live life on your terms, travel the world, and generate passive or semi-passive income from anywhere, then this isn’t for you.

What if, instead, you could put in a couple hours a day (in your spare time) to build a single digital asset, and your reward was a $500 to $2,000 payment that came in every single month?

And what if you could get started today and have your first payment in a week?

And what if you could double it next week?

Well, that’s the power of Digital Real Estate

And, unlike a traditional ad agency, you can legitimately do this from anywhere. It’s a true lifestyle business.

Your laptop and an internet connection is all you need.

Some of the most successful students in this program run their entire 6-figure businesses from:

  • A camper in the middle of the woods
  • A beach chair on the water in Mexico
  • A small villa in Greece

They’re able to travel around, living their lives first, and focusing on their income second.

Because even if they stop working for an extended period of time, the money keeps coming in.

So adventure, memories, and experience are the top priority.

And they never have to worry about how to pay for the next trip, or consider asking for time off.

Is There A Better Alternative?

Yes, there are plenty of other business models to choose from if you want to pursue this making money online.  Here are just a few:

What Is My Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2022?

what is my top recommendation for making money online 2022

The ScamRisk team has spent months researching, reviewing, and vetting dozens of business models and thousands of programs.

While there may be no “perfect business”, the research IS conclusive:

Digital Real Estate is the #1 online business model for those just starting out.

Whether you’ve never made a dollar online, or you’ve been in this space for a while but never really “made it,” Digital Real Estate is for you.

1) It’s Flexible: got an hour a day? You can do this. Ready to drop everything else and dive in full time? You can do this. Yes, the more time you put in, the faster you see results. But even with a little time each day, you can move the needle in a Digital Real Estate business.

And because this system is so flexible, you don’t have to constantly be working to make more money. It’s called PASSIVE INCOME because if you stop working, the money doesn’t.

Imagine taking 3 months off to just tour around Europe, rent a cabin in the woods to write a book, hike the Appalachian Trail, or live on the beach and surf all day.

This is only possible if you have an income stream that’s not tied to your time.

2) You Own & Control EVERYTHING: With an ad agency, you don’t really own anything. You’re a hired gun for clients, and entirely at their mercy.

Sure, you own your agency, but if your business grinds to a halt once you stop working, all you really have is a self-created job.

With Digital Real Estate (a passive income stream), you own all the assets, which means you have all the power and all the control.

3) Little To No Startup Costs: It’s possible to get into Digital Real Estate with zero dollars upfront. Because, using the strategies outlined in this program, you can get a client to pay you BEFORE spending a penny out of your own pocket…even before you do any work.

Even without getting paid in advance, you can have your first Digital Rental Property up, running, and generating profits for less than $100.

4) Easy To Duplicate: Ok, here’s the best part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up and running, you can literally DOUBLE your income with a few clicks, a couple keystrokes, and a single phone call (and you don’t actually need the phone call).

Remember: each Digital Rental Property is worth $500 to $2,000 a month in semi-passive income (over 95% profit). Every time you decide to create another one and increase your income, it gets easier.

Because you have more knowledge, more experience, more results, and more momentum.

If you wanted to double your income with an ad agency, you’d have to double your clients OR double the monthly payment of your existing customers. And, guaranteed that’s a lot harder than a few clicks and a few minutes of your life.

5) Make Money Helping Real People: This part is what makes it all worth it. With Digital Real Estate, you’re actually helping people by solving your clients’ biggest problem:

Small, local businesses need more customers, and with Digital Real Estate, you are unleashing a flood of happy, paying customers for these businesses.

You make money by helping them make money.

Not a big, faceless corporation either…a small business owner who’s using that money to put food on the table for their family, start a college fund for their kids, or take care of a sick parent. Once you see how Digital Real Estate makes a real impact in the lives of real people, you’ll sleep like a baby with a big smile on your face.

Now, the choice is yours. You could continue browsing, looking at opportunities like Jr Rivas which could one day make you money.

You could continue researching, never making a decision.

OR, you could take a look inside, consider what you really want, and join a program that makes your dreams a reality. At the same time, joining a community of over 2,000 successful students that are living life on their own terms thanks to Digital Real Estate.

A consistent, reliable, semi-passive stream of income that doesn’t depend on you or your time to keep producing profits.

All while genuinely helping real people who are grateful and happy to pay for it.

If this sounds more like what you want out of life (or if you just want some nice side income), click here to learn more about Digital Real Estate.
