Mike asserts that he is your go-to guy. He’ll teach you how to earn substantial commissions by making phone sales for coaches enrolled in his 6-Figure Inside Closer program.
Is it, however, legit?
Now, I want to be honest here, so…
Inside Closer is a sales training course that promises to show you how to earn a 6-figure income by being a “closer”.
In other words, taking sales calls for high-ticket coaching programs.
Honestly, it’s not a bad premise…
If you’re looking to trade in one job for another, with even less security.
Ok, all snark aside, sales isn’t a bad industry. Salespeople are always in demand, and – if everything is aligned – you can earn a good to great income.
Unfortunately, that relies on everything actually working properly. And in 99/100 organizations, that’s just not the case.
The biggest problem with being a “closer” is that – no matter how much money you make – you’re entirely at someone else’s mercy. If it’s not your program or your business, then your income can always be taken away.
The second biggest problem is lead flow/quality. The average no-show rate for most coaching programs is 50-70%. That means if you get 8 calls on your calendar per day, 4-5 of them won’t even show up. In other words, half your day (and half your potential income) is wasted.
The third problem is the actual commission rate. Now, this isn’t actually a problem, except that most of these training programs tell you you can land a $1,000+ commission check every day.
The thing is, the average commission rate for an online coaching program is $500. So, to hit that $1,000 commission, you’d have to close at least two sales a day.
But if 4-5 of your calls no-show every day, that means you have to close 2 out of 3/4 calls. Giving you a 50-75% close rate. And frankly, if you’re that good of a closer, you should have your own training program.

- You are not required to produce your product.
- You’re dealing with enthusiastic advocates for the product.
- High commissions (often 10%–20% in the majority of cases)
- Additionally, it is not a normal sales role where you must clock in and out and meet objectives.
Rather than that, you reserve times that fit your schedule. This means that if you can close enough deals, you can work a few hours per week and earn several thousand dollars.
How Much Does The Program Cost?

Mike maintains an extensive personal network of online entrepreneurs with whom he may connect you. I’m sure there is more to it, but it does not appear to be a significant roadblock.
What Is High-Ticket Selling?
The primary benefit of working as an inside closer for high-ticket products is the potential for significant commissions.
According to Mike’s Inside Closer webinar, most coaches who sell high-ticket items provide closers in the 10% to 20% range.
Some instructors charge fees ranging from $5,000 to $20,000 or more. This translates into an average commission income of $1,000 to $2,000 or more.
Clearly, this is an enticing offer. Most innocent unsuspecting people despise their jobs and wish to increase their income overall.
Negotiating large commissions over the phone or via Zoom does not appear problematic.
The Pros And Cons Of Inside Closing
I am fully aware that nothing is ever as simple as it appears to be. When I was younger, I was constantly surrounded by salespeople.
Only the most successful closers stood out and were recognized for their accomplishments in a sales department with a high turnover rate.
Inside Closer is slightly different for high-ticket product, but it is still sales. Although program and scripts help the rookie, some individuals excel as closers more than others.
If you are uncomfortable conversing with strangers, let alone attempting to sell them something, this profession may not be for you.
Even the most skilled salespeople get rejected by prospects. You’re going to need tough skin in those scenarios like all digital marketing companies train.
There is no guarantee that you will acquire a high-value client.
Although Mike appeared to cover this in his webinar, there was no guarantee that you would be able to land a high-ticket coach as a closer.
He states that he will educate you on how to be attractive to these coaches, but I’m not sure how probable it is that you’ll land a closing role if you’re competing against other possible closers.
The best thing is that there are numerous product proprietors. There are ads for these courses and coaching on every social media network, as I previously indicated.
Can You Trust Inside Closer?
Unlike many items I come across online, I do not believe the Mike Barron Academy or Inside Closer Program is a scam.
The Inside Closer Program looks to give enough training for attracting and closing high-ticket clients.
Bear in mind that there are no guarantees. You are not guaranteed high-ticket clients, and even if you are, your revenue is not assured.
This is a sales position, and you will need to work diligently to close leads to earn commissions.
The benefit of this program is that you will acquire critical and valuable sales skills, particularly those related to the closing of high-ticket products.
These qualities or skills may be advantageous for future sales careers or even for selling your products if you want to become a product creator.
Can You Make Money With Inside Closer?
You very certainly can! Inside Closer enables salespeople to make significant commissions.
There’s a lot that comes along with sales that many people struggle with.
Now, don’t get the wrong idea…
It’s not impossible to make money with sales, but if you’re gonna put in the amount of grueling work to do this business (which, trust us, isn’t easy), you might as well bring in some REAL money while you’re learning the ropes.
