Started by Julian Sherman and Mathieu Jang the Global Affiliate Zone was created as a resource for students to learn affiliate marketing and how to automate it and still gain massive profits. These two men were also coaches in a similar affiliate opportunity program called AWOL Academy.
This academy which stands for “Another Way of Life” is a similar business model albeit one that seems to have a little more substance. While they are no longer with AWOL, they have created this Global Affiliate Zone that gives the impression you can have all the profits and do only 10% of the work.
Some may view their previous positions as sketch, it would seem that there is more of a Global Affiliate Zone scam here than you might think.
Julian Sherman and Mathieu Jang seem to have taken what was once a rich in content, wheat bread and sliced it down so succinctly into a nutrient absent aesthetically pleasing white bread business model. Is this business legit?
Whenever you reach a point where other people start promoting your product for commission, there appears to be a fine line into the realm of pyramid schemes.
So it is imperative to have a product that can produce results in actuality and have people who can show with monetary proof that what you teach, you do and makes others money as well.
When I do a Google search for these two guys, do you know not one website is owned by them? Not only that, everything around them is bathed in the light of vague street.
So I wanted to know if they actually make money as affiliate marketers or if they are just making money by selling a course about making money as an affiliate marketer.
There used to be enough space within the internet for affiliate marketers but as time has gone on it has gotten harder and harder for people to feel comfortable with affiliates due to the almost complete saturation and due to a lot of affiliates being shady business people.
I have said it a thousand times before lead generation is by far the better business opportunity for anyone. No matter their skill level coming into the game.
I take immense pride from the fact I was able to build my own business (now with a small team) to over $45 thousand dollars a month and it is still the primary source of my income.
Affiliate Institute AKA Global Affiliate Zone
Yes, in just the few short years GAZ has been around it has already been rebranded. Nothing of course has changed but it seems the rebranding occurred because of too much negative connotation surrounding its previous name.
Their company motto is still the same something along the lines of “….this is the only system that automates 90% of your online marketing strategy. We are able to allow even the newest most inexperienced marketer the opportunity to make full commissions within days from joining, while only doing 10% of the work.”
Now let’s be honest, if you read that without knowing anything else about the company, without much information on what exactly affiliate marketing even entails; you would be at minimum intrigued to dive further.
So, you have been reeled in by the pitch and click to become a member. Initial membership into the program is $99. You are under the impression that by paying this fee you will be given a personal coach; I’m sorry to say the reality of this acquisition has just landed you access to a private support group.
Almost immediately after hitting submit to join the private fb group you are now asked if you would like to purchase their play by play game plan on how you can make six figures with their digital marketing strategy.
Then they upsell you again for almost THREE GRAND saying they will provide you with done for you services so you don’t have to work as hard getting your business set up.
These types of business models frustrate the hell out of me. I would much rather prefer having everything I need to know all in one spot even if the price was a bit higher upfront, so that I knew exactly what I was investing in and that it would be of high quality and value.
I do understand why they are offering their course for the lower price point of $99 dollars. You want to give everyone, no matter their financial situation an opportunity to join. I will say this though, almost every business course I have taken has had a section on knowing who your perfect client is.
Even going so far as to creating a very specific client avatar. By doing this, you are able to tailor your services to your exact client every time.
The simple fact is, not every product is for every person. So by having such a low price point, yes you are reaching a large net into a sea of fish but are you even reaching the type of people you want within your course?
Quite honestly, if $99 is a make or break investment for you then maybe starting an online business is not the right move you should be making. Or any business for that matter.
If you want a legitimate, meaningful, and trustworthy business you will have to make more than a bare minimum investment. You may need to stay in that 9-5 a little longer so you have the capabilities to continue paying your everyday bills before funding your online business.
Will this even work for you?
So when they say they are going to do the work for you, what they actually mean is we are going to pawn off the same exact niches we have given everyone else. With the same exact website templates we have given everyone else, without editable versions.
So now you have not been taught any actual skills, but you are also using sites that are identical or damn near close to your student peers. Let me point out the glaring problem with this approach for those who do not yet see it.
You haven’t learned the skill of building a website from the ground up. I have. You are using carbon copies of websites that are losing their impact each and every time one of those clone sites pops up.
I have created a custom website, utilizing every optimization tool in my wheelhouse for the sole purpose of crushing mediocre sites like yours so that my perfect client never even lays eyes on your site. To say you will struggle with competition like me is an understatement.
I am not saying this to toot my own horn. I am saying this because I want you to understand there is a distinct difference in the value I provide as a master of my specialized skill set, compared to having someone who does not understand or has not been taught why those skills are necessary.
There is immense value in your skill set. Your income is reflective of that value. If your goal is to have an online business then you need to learn the skills to do so. Invest in your education so that you can be the master of your income, not in D4U bullshit sites.
Now, if the training to do it yourself was offered alongside the D4U services then that’s an entirely different story.
When I realized that I wanted to invest in my education I chose the coaching program that I’m actively a part of today.
This was the program that not only gave me the tools but TAUGHT me the skills to deliver an in-demand skill to business owners and it was this skill that allowed me to walk away from the military and build a legitimate, multiple six figure online business.
There is nothing in this life that will give you something of value without you having to work for it. Anything that promises you immense wealth without you doing anything in return should be something you’re extremely cautious about.
You should ask yourself this question. Did the creators of Affiliate Institute or Global Affiliate Zone establish their program and all of the marketing behind it from someone or somewhere else? The initial course content had to be created by them. So that they could then edit/alter/copy for you.
The initial marketing investment had to be done by them so they could continue adding students. They had to know how to do that themselves right?
If you are apprehensive to the validity that it was in fact Julian and Mathieu who did all of this work themselves, then why would you invest in their course?
If they have chosen to create a course on taking the “easy way” to “mass profits” is it not safe to assume they themselves have taken the easy way? How then can you trust a coach who is not actually there or able to coach you?
If we are to believe that these men did in fact create this course themselves and everything in it, isn’t it a bit misleading for them to promise you, a complete beginner, that all of their wealth came without a lot of preparation and work?
I mean I can understand what they are trying to get across. They are trying to bring affiliate marketing into an easy to follow systematic, automated approach.
Not only are they trying to simplify affiliate marketing they are offering an affiliate opportunity within their own program. It would seem like a very attractive system for a broad scope of people. And what is the most attractive sell out there right now for mass amounts of people? Immediate gratification.
This false narrative that major success is just one perfect opportunity away. That the thing that is going to bring you success is not something you can find within yourself but something that can be purchased and duplicated.
Once you realize success has more to do with you than anything else, that mind shift will open up so many more doors to fulfilling your actual desires.
When You Invest in a Skill Set, You Will Reap the Rewards Forever
The mentor program I use will teach you all about building a lead generation business and everything that entails. This is a skill set that every single business in the world needs. They want a consistent flow of clients but do not always know the best way to achieve that. Or just don’t have time.
This program teaches you how to bring organic leads to every business you target. They can count on you month after month to bring them these leads because of your newly acquired skill set.
Your main goal here is to generate leads from free traffic meaning you do not have to rely on the finicky and expensive nature of Facebook Ads.
Potential clients are also losing money in this situation because they are paying out for that traffic and there is a loss in quality since Facebook advertising is considered interruption marketing. This is a type of marketing that interrupts someone scrolling by capturing their attention and trying to persuade them to buy.
As compared to traffic that is organic or free, which is considered attraction marketing. With attraction marketing your clients are already searching for you and seeking you out. So it is much easier to get those conversions since they are already on the hunt to buy your services or products.
There is no doubt in my mind that knowing how to generate leads for businesses is one of the most valuable skill sets to have on the internet. I mean, what business is going to turn away high-quality clients ready to buy right then?!
You automatically become someone of high value and high demand once you learn how to do this.
I never really imagined the “laptop” lifestyle was in my future. Being able to work anywhere in the world, at any time, just from my laptop or tablet? That was something I thought may be a little out of my reach.
It was something I desired and dreamed of sure, don’t most of us? Except the difference between myself and most people, is that I am now living that exact life I imagined.
I no longer have a boss (or a military superior in my case) and I no longer have to work in a cubicle. I do work for myself and make my own schedule.
The absolute best part is that there are no limits to the amount of money I can make. You see, if I want to make an extra couple hundred dollars or an extra couple thousand dollars, all I have to do is build another lead generation website like the one below.
These are sites that I build, that I rank and then I send the generated leads to a business owner that I’m working with in a given market.
These things require little to no maintenance and as you can see above, this one alone brings in $1k every month for me.
Imagine what you could do if you built 5, 10, 50 or more of these like I have.
Now like I said before I am a couple years into my lead generation journey, within that time, I have been able to walk away from the military, reach a multiple 6-figure income, hire a team, and travel anywhere at the drop of a hat with my family.
For the last three years I have been able to invest that disposable income into a multitude of other business ventures. I have been able to dabble in everything from drop shipping to affiliate marketing. Some were investment losses and some I still do today.
Either way, I have always had enough that I was willing to lose some and I have never found another business opportunity as lucrative and enriching as lead generation.
Once you know how it works, and why it works, and can see the results of your hard work; you will realize this is a skill you can use and make money with in more ways than you can imagine.
Hell, I still find new ways to make money with it. It’s like a weapon of mass destruction but in a good way.
My Final Two Cents
The GAZ wants to teach you affiliate marketing. Is it the most comprehensive program out there? No. The biggest draw to their program is for you to do 10% of the work. To do that though they would have had to upsell you on their done for you website builds which was at that $3000 mark.
If you do that though, you only harm yourself because you never learned or developed any actual skills. I truly feel by going that route, you will undoubtedly struggle more as an affiliate marketer because all your fellow students will be using the exact same thing without any variation.
Since you don’t know why your sites aren’t working, you won’t know how to fix them either. If you do want to know how to be the solution, you need to learn the specialized skills to do so. These are true skills that not many people have or are taking the time to learn.
Within this lead generation program you will have everything available to you to take you from complete beginner to high level expert. You will be making a difference in the success of other small businesses but also building a very profitable and scalable business for yourself.
So invest in your education, acquire the skills, and no one or anything will be able take that away from you. You will be in complete control of your future.
