TLDR – Does Digital Storefronts Give You What You Need for a Successful Lead Generation Business?
Is Digital Storefronts Worthwhile?
Area | Score | Description |
---|---|---|
Time | 3/5 | It’ll take some time to get set up, but hopefully the website should work it’s magic for you. |
Money | 1/5 | The upfront cost is quite high, which is not a problem if you’re ranking it. However, lots of the reviews I’ve found suggest its hard to make your money back. |
Effort | 3/5 | Like with the time, it’ll take some effort to get everything set up, then it should hopefully be relatively smooth sailing. |
Control | 2/5 | There’s a worrying bit of beef between Cory and other gurus in this space. I’m a little concerned about where his information comes from, and if this beef might end up hitting his students. |
Freedom | 1/5 | I don’t think you’re going to be earning enough to be truly free. |
Results | 1/5 | I can’t find any proof that students are really getting anything from this. One review suggests that the example testimonial – Denton Limo Hire – isn’t really earning anything at all. |
Cory Long’s Digital Storefronts gets off to a great start. The local lead generation model has big potential, and too many gurus are sleeping on this!
These days, many online business models are tired, stale, or saturated, so kudos to Cory Long for daring to do something different.
But is the Digital Storefront business model the best way to tap into the local lead generation business?
In my personal opinion… no, it’s not.
Does the guru not trust his own program??
There are a few factors that make me suspicious. I found some rumors that suggest Cory is making most of his money through an online coaching program, not lead generation. If these rumors are true, this would mean he’s stacking his cash from selling his methods, not using his methods himself.
It would be a bit like your friend recommended this really cool coffee shop in your neighborhood. You go check it out, and it seems really nice – cool decor, sweet vibe – but then you see that same friend strolling into the spot across the street. If this place is so good, how come she’s going somewhere else?
What’s this guru’s background?
Next, the Digital Storefronts course founder seems to have a few skeletons in the ol’ closet. Checking out this online entrepreneur program, I found that Cory Long was kicked out of one of his old mentorship groups for trying to poach students – a direct violation of the rules.
There are also a few bad words being thrown around. One review I found said Cory had been taking methods directly from his own mentors and then badmouthing these mentors online.
If it’s true, this is all super unprofessional and is just a really mean thing to do. It just doesn’t fill me with confidence in his success roadmap.
What’s the alternative?
I actually love local lead generation. I just think there are way better strategies for making this work. One of the best I’ve seen is Digital Leasing…
With Digital Leasing, you’ll be learning from guys who have done this for real. They have crafted lead generation sites in killer niches, bringing in phone calls and emails from leads who are desperate to convert. We’re talking about things like emergency dentistry or after-hours plumbing. No one’s shopping around for this stuff; they want it now!
The Digital Leasing team knows this business model works because they’ve done it and are doing it themselves. Lead generation services are their bread and butter, and they’ve supported many successful students on their own journeys.
With the right coaching, lead generation websites can be the keys to solid income, online business control, and real freedom in your life- the freedom to make your dreams come true.
Have you always wanted to hike the Appalachian Trail but never found the time? Can you see yourself escaping the winter cold in the Caribbean each year? Do you long for more special moments with your loved ones? Whatever freedom looks like to you, Digital Leasing can make it happen.

Who is Digital Storefronts Actually For… and Who’s It NOT For?
These courses don’t work for everyone. So, where does Digital Storefronts fit in? Who might be able to make money online with this option?
Who It’s For…
Digital Storefronts might be for you, if…
- You don’t know much about the local lead generation model – You’ll get some useful information about local lead generation with the Digital Storefronts course.
- You don’t mind the negative comments – There are some negative comments about Cory online, but if you can put these out of your mind they might not be an issue.
- You’re not worried about the guru’s income stream – There are a few rumors around that suggest the guru makes his money from coaching rather than creating Digital Storefronts himself, so you’ll need to ignore these rumors too.
Who It’s NOT For…
Digital Storefronts probably won’t be for you, if…
- You want a bit more community from your course – The private Facebook group doesn’t seem to have much life to it, which might be a red flag for people looking for a bit more engagement with fellow students.
- You want to see proof of results – I couldn’t find much proof that Digital Storefronts students are actually having success with local businesses, which might put some people off.
- You want a more effective form of local lead generation – Local lead generation is great, but some methods are better than others. If you want to get the best out of the model, rather than just sampling the basics, this program might not be for you.
The 1000FT View on the Digital Storefronts Program
It’s time to take five and get the bigger picture on the whole Digital Storefronts thing…
The Digital Storefronts Business Model
Without a doubt, the best thing about Digital Storefronts is the business model it teaches. In a world of tired old courses and late-to-the-party business models, Cory Long is doing something different… and I love that for him.
What is local lead generation? It basically means you set up niche websites and generate leads for local services. This is a big advantage here over standard lead generation – the leads you bring in are highly qualified and are local to the business owners you partner with. They’re much easier to convert, which means more customers for local business owners and more money for you!
I have to say that all this is very, very cool. But does Cory Long get the most out of this online business model? I don’t think he quite manages it. This Reddit user feels the same, calling out the lack of social proof that anyone is actually making money from the program, although they do say that they’ve seen great results from other local lead-generation approaches.
Cory’s course might fall a bit short… but at least he shot for the moon!
How Much Does Digital Storefronts Cost?
It’s not too easy to see how much Digital Storefronts costs.
However, it seems that it will cost you about $5,000 to get on board with Cory Long’s program. Another user I found on the Digital Storefronts sleepy little Facebook page said they were out $6,500.
This is quite a high price, but remember that the actual cost is not as important as the value…
After all, if you pay $6.5k and get $650k in return, that’s a pretty good deal, right?
I suppose it would be, but I can’t find any proof that this is actually happening for people. Even the reviews saying this is a legit opportunity seem a bit vague and don’t offer any actual insight.
So the price itself isn’t the problem… it’s the fact you might not make this back!
How is Digital Storefronts Different?
So far I’ve checked out a few different Digital Storefronts reviews, but let’s take a different approach. How is this course different from the others out there?
Well, it’s very different from affiliate marketing programs like Mobile Site Sniper. Affiliate programs are generating leads for their business partners, but they do it in a different way. There’s just not so much money to be made in affiliate marketing these days, so Cory’s lead generation approach is better.
It’s also different from other lead generation programs. Digital Storefronts is in the local lead generation business… not the more general lead generation model that Jason Wardrop teaches.
Checking Out Those Cory Long Reviews – What’s This Guru All About?
So, who is Cory Long, besides being the man behind the whole Digital Storefronts program? Let’s round up some of the Cory Long reviews.
Cory is a proclaimed Christian minister and a man who holds his faith very dear to him, which is something to be respected. He’s also been in business basically his whole life. Since he was 7 years old he’s been involved in entrepreneurship in some way or another, selling things and coming up with cool ideas.
Educated at Texas Tech University and specializing in electrical and electronics engineering, Cory was soon back in the world of business. In 1982, Cory’s dad quit his day job and bought a business with his son. Cory says this business is still running today, and is a multi-million dollar organization, although he doesn’t say what this business is.
His professional life has taken him all over the place, working with mega-companies and also non-profits. He was at one point the CEO for an all-girls children’s home in the state of Kansas. He also says there are a few Fortune 500 companies on his resume.
But how does this get us to local lead generation? Well, in 2014, he started North Texas Safety Supply, and he understood quickly that he didn’t just need leads; he needed local leads that were ready to convert. After looking around for a bit, he found a couple of guys who could help him bring in these leads and customers. He realized this pair had the whole local marketing thing down in his area, and he sensed an opportunity.
He started Yroc consulting, using this local lead generation knowledge – the same knowledge that he now wants to pass on to students with Digital Storefronts.
This all seems pretty cool, but there are a few rocks in the road to be aware of. For example, he found himself thrown out of one mentorship group he used to gain his skills when he broke one of their key rules about selling to other members. I won’t hold this against him too much, as I don’t have all the details, but this seems important to know if you’re thinking of following in his footsteps.
Is Digital Storefronts Legit?
This is going to be the biggest part of the Digital Storefronts review for many of your out there, and I don’t blame you! Online scams are scary, and they do exist… so is Digital Storefronts legit, or is there a scam?
So, I don’t think there’s a scam going on here. I’ve taken a look inside the Digital Storefronts course and there are a lot of good modules. Across the lead generation course you’ll learn about quick lead methods, digital advertising, and building lead generation websites. You’ll also get info on the tenant attraction system and how to rent digital storefronts.
Maybe some of this is available elsewhere in free training videos, but I think Cory Long and his team are still pretty upfront about what you get. I don’t quite think this adds up to a scam.
There are some others who aren’t convinced though. I found some reviewers that say Cory has taken his methods from another course – Job Killing – and is passing them off as his own. The reviewer even said that Cory is bad-mouthing Job Killing and then sending people over to their system and getting paid as a result.
This comes after Cory apparently made a video calling Job Killing a scam, basically firing shots at the guys who trained him. This video is not available anymore, but screenshots I found suggest it did exist. This sounds like a bit of a guru firefight, and I don’t want any part of it… but it doesn’t exactly make me feel very confident in Cory’s program.
There’s also the results issue. I can’t find many examples of people making it big by partnering with a local business owner through Cory Long’s course. It’s not impossible simply because the lead generation business is just such a good area of digital marketing, but why aren’t there more reliable testimonials from people who have started their own online businesses?
Then there’s the guru himself’s income stream. People are saying his income comes mainly from the program rather than from the lead generation business. It’s like he’s not backing his own coaching program to work, which leaves us with some big unanswered questions about Digital Storefront.
My Personal View – Will Digital Storefronts Help You Generate Leads for Local Business Owners?
Ok… here’s what I think.
I think the local lead generation business model is great. It works. I’ve seen it work. And tons of other people agree. Your local business owner needs this service, and more customers for them means more money for you.
But I don’t think Cory Long is the right man to help you break into this industry.
Here’s what I’m looking for in a coaching program like this…
- Amazing mentoring – You’re here to learn… so let’s learn! Great courses delivered by great teachers are a must.
- Big, proven returns – Lots of programs hit you with promises of “well over six figures”, but I’ve got to see the proof!
- The freedom to enjoy your life – I like to see something like passive income, where you can earn good money without it eating up all your spare time and driving you nuts.
Is Digital Storefronts the Right Call for You?
Does the lead generation business model work? For sure it does. I’ve seen it happen.
Does this lead generation program work? I don’t know, so I can’t recommend it as the right way to enter the business model.
Here’s why I think this…
- The coaching is probably fine, and the modules are pretty well-structured. However, there are a few ethical questions about where the information comes from.
- The returns just aren’t proven! If you’re paying a lot of money upfront, you need some reliable testimonials to set your mind at ease, and I can’t find many of these with Digital Storefront.
- You can make a semi-passive income with local lead generation, but again, I don’t see any proof that you can do this with Digital Storefront.
With Digital Leasing, you’re working with the local lead generation model too. But with this course, the coaching and mentorship are more geared towards success. I’ve seen a lot of coaches and mentors in my time, and these guys are some of the very best I’ve seen online.
They have a proven track record of helping would-be online business owners achieve their goals. And we’re talking about a well-rounded set of goals, too, like handling search engine optimization, navigating Google’s search algorithm updates, and even building your own winning website.
It’s this well-honed and highly effective approach that is making such a difference for the online entrepreneur community. Lots of lead generation programs leave their students chasing a scattergun approach, using too many sites, deploying too many ads, and losing track of their progress.
With Digital Leasing, you’ll get the support you need to really nail down your target market, and become the go-to for leads in your area. Whether you’re slinging leads to storm damage repair companies in Chandler, Arizona, or setting up those slam dunks for pest control specialists in Waterbury, Connecticut, you’ll can make your market your own.
Freedom and control are everything in this model. You own everything… your business, your site, your brand, your life. So what will you do with that freedom? Maybe the carnival at Rio is calling your name? Perhaps a couple of months camping fine wines on the Tuscan coast sounds better? Or it could be you just want to have more time with your nearest and dearest? Whatever freedom looks like for you, Digital Leasing can make it happen.

What’s Inside the Digital Storefronts Local Lead Generation Program?
It’s time to look a little deeper, checking out the inner workings of Digital Storefronts so we can discover exactly what’s going on here.
There’s seven modules here, plus an intro, that are designed to help you make it in the world of lead generation. Even if you’re a total beginner, you should gain a bit of insight into this online business model, and the training video program starts right at the beginning.
- Introduction and Success Road Map
- Module 1 – Finding the Perfect Locations
- Module 2 – Creating Digital Storefronts
- Module 3 – Getting Ranked
- Module 4 – Quick Lead Methods
- Module 5 – Finding and Closing Deals
- Module 6 – Tenant Attraction System
- Module 7 – Bonus Module
Things like the Module 6 – Tenant Attraction System, and Module 2 – Creating Digital Storefronts are certainly interesting.
It looks like you get a bit of information on closing deals, using paid advertising and organic lead generation, and making moves that could lead you to semi-passive income.
But I can’t find any reliable success stories. The lead generation business model is an exciting one… but poor courses could end up ruining lead generation empires before they even get off the ground, and other lead generation models might be a better fit for students.
Take a look at the modules in more detail in the table below.
Digital Storefronts Modules
The Module | The Description |
---|---|
Introduction and Success Road Map | We haven’t started yet really. This is just a bit of orientation, giving you the background you need to succeed with this course. |
Module 1 – Finding the Perfect Locations | We’re working with the local lead generation business model here. Obviously you’re affiliate business model is going to be online, but you need to be targeting the right real world locations too. |
Module 2 – Creating Digital Storefronts | As you might have guessed, Module 2 – Creating Digital Storefronts is all about setting up your online lead generation asset. In other words, creating something that is going to win those all important qualified leads for local businesses. |
Module 3 – Getting Ranked | You need to get noticed, which means you need to get ranked. This part of the course is a pretty cool intro to organic lead generation models… which basically means getting found in the search engine results pages. |
Module 4 – Quick Lead Methods | You’ll need other lead generation models too, like paid advertising. This module looks at some of these methods, and how you can use them to your advantage. |
Module 5 – Finding and Closing Deals | This part of the Digital Storefronts training is all about how you make those crucial connections with local business owners – the connections that lead generation empires are build on. |
Module 6 – Tenant Attraction System | You need business owners to come to you if you are going to be one of the passive income success stories. Module 6 – Tenant Attraction system is all about making this happen, then closing deals in a meaningful way. |
Module 7 – Bonus Module | Cory Long also offers a bonus module to close out his Digital Storefronts course. |
My Digital Storefronts Reviews Round Up – The Conclusion
The time has come to draw a line on all these Digital Storefronts reviews… so let’s wrap it up.
A quick checklist should do it. So what have we got?
A great business model? Check! – Local lead generation is a very cool thing to be exploring right now.
A great course? Hmm, I’m not so sure about this one. I just haven’t seen any proof that the Digital Storefronts training is going to get you where you need to be.
A great coach? Again, I’m not sure. I think Cory has done well for himself and knows a thing or two, but I just can’t find anything to back this up.
Ahh well. One out of three.
So what’s next? Well you could keep on looking, maybe check out one of my other reviews… like this one for Chad Kimball.
Or you could check out my #1 pick instead… and learn from the guys who I think are doing local lead generation the right way…
My #1 Way for Making Money Online In 2024
Our review team has spent months reviewing dozens of business models and thousands of programs.
And the research IS conclusive:
Digital Leasing is the #1 online business model for those just starting out.
Whether you’ve never made a dollar online, or you’ve been in this space for a while, Digital Leasing is for you.
Why?
1) It’s Flexible: got an hour a day? You can do this. Even with a little time each day, you can move the needle in a Digital Leasing business.
You can earn PASSIVE INCOME – if you stop working, the money doesn’t.
Imagine taking 3 months off to just tour around Europe, rent a cabin in the woods to write a book, hike the Appalachian Trail, or live on the beach and surf all day.
I just can’t find any proof that Cory is making this happen for people, even if he is in the right business model.
2) You Own & Control EVERYTHING: Until all this uncertainty over where Cory’s methods come from is over, I don’t think any of his students can be sure that they are really in control.
This is not the case with Digital Leasing! With Digital Leasing, you own all the assets, which means you have all the power and all the control.
3) Little To No Startup Costs: It’s possible to get into Digital Leasing with zero dollars upfront using the strategies outlined in this program.
You can have your first Digital Rental Property up and running and generating profits for less than $100.
4) Easy To Duplicate: OK, here’s the best part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up and running, you can literally DOUBLE your income with a few clicks.
Each Digital Rental Property is worth $500 to $2,000 a month in semi-passive income (over 95% profit). Every time you decide to create another one and increase your income, it gets easier.
I guess Cory’s training could give you the same kind of income… but where’s the proof? That one testimonial from the Denton limo company doesn’t quite cut it!
5) Make Money Helping Real People: Small, local business owners need more customers, and with Digital Leasing, you are unleashing a flood of happy, paying customers for these businesses.
You make money by helping them make money. This part is what makes it all worth it… helping a small business owner in your community. That’s how Digital Leasing makes a real impact in the lives of real people.
Get started today, and join a community of over 2,000 successful students that are living life on their own terms, and achieve a consistent, reliable, semi-passive stream of income while helping real people.
